Title says it all.At what TH level did you started farming?And how did you discover it?I discovered farming when I was TH5 trying to find a good base on Youtube(Was pretty bad at base building back then :D) then I discovered a 'farming' base for TH5.I was like 'What's farming?'.I went to google about farming and that's how I found out about farming.Also 300 posts :cool:

8. Someone was talking about it on global so i googled it. I cant imagine how much further i would be if i discovered it at a lower lvl. Before that i was constantly pushing and always wondered why everyone had so much more loot than me.
5-ish? I think I found out about it when I went on the forums.
I didn't believe it was possible at the time, the match making change was what made me try it. Managed to get some nice loots in before penalties. :)
By the time i got to th5, i figured its a waste of effort to protect the town hall, and pillaging other bases suddenly makes the game a lot easier.
TH7 because of my first proper clan :)
I was crystal at town hall 7 and discovered it as a premmie town hall 8.
TH8. Suffice to say I was there for a good while.
Well I gemmed my th to th9'on the first day with bad defences and bad walls. But I thought I was awesome, getting more from collectors, having more troops and winning more defence with xbows and such. I was not aware of the loot penalty till 7 months in from playing clash of clans. Up untill that moment I was having so much fun, raiding for fun, talking with friends in my clan. Farming only made my addiction to clash of clans bigger, although I don't think I'm having as much fun as I did back in the old days by getting frustrated with bad loot or fails, and hours playing just for loot. Without being told of the penalty there was nothing for me to complain about or compare my loot with, I would have continued playing casually and had fun, it was what I thought , normal.
