Clash for Oxfam!

Clash for Oxfam was a fundraising event hosted by the Bad Rabbits for players and clans from the online game Clash of Clans. The initial goal was to raise $500 for Oxfam (www.oxfamamerica.org), a highly regarded global charity that does a lot of great work around the world. The response was amazing, however, and the goal was quickly raised to $1200. In the end we tripled that, raising a total of $3600 for Oxfam. Incredible!

The event ran for 14 days, from January 17 - 31, 2014. Seven lucky donors were chosen randomly to receive the following prizes:

1. 1000 gems: Huon from Korea Blue
2. 1500 gems: Calandraco from mildlyambitious
3. 2500 gems: Bryce & Natalia from Bad Rabbits PI
4. Three Days of Daddy: WTrujillo from Mini G’S
5. Three Days of Kendra: MaRCOtHEMoNSTAR from X-Royal
6. Three Days of Raindragon: Sehyung Nam from Korean ACE
7. Three Days of Godson: Lupang_ from Hinirang Bagsik Ng Pinas

We'd like to offer heartfelt thanks to Supercell for donating the gems and promoting the event on their Facebook Page, Daddy and Godson for featuring the event on their YouTube channels, and to all of the donors and supporters - you made a difference!

Lol no I believe this fits perfectly in the general section and IMO it should be stickied. He isnt on here recruting for his clan he is trying to get the COC and forum community to help out with what looks like an awesome event and fundraiser.

Nice event btw. I'm surprised that you managed to get SC to sponsor the prizes, never thought they would do that.
