A request to both supercell and the community

Please, let's stop fighting, flaming, and complaining. We are all angry with the state of the game for various reasons and continue to derail threads with negativity. It seems like the supercell staff realizes there are issues. They have delayed the update to get it right. Let's be honest here, we aren't the most easy to appease. No matter what happens., someone will have something negative to say. There are gems(pun intended) hidden in the open threads of good ideas and discussion. I hope that it gets seen by the right people. Let's give the game a chance to get better.

I can only speak for myself, but I think a lot of the current mood of the forum is due to a lack of knowledge. You are a business and need to make money. I will always respect that. You have created a fantastic community but also taken on the uphill challenge of keeping them happy. I think myself and others would love some sort of statement about the direction of the game. Will there be an emphasis on clan relations, an increase in content, or even a change in the current content? We are in the dark. I realize you have little to gain from a business perspective by telling us your goals, but it just might put many people at ease. It doesn't have to be detailed, but even a paragraph of your opinions on the game would go a long way. Give us something to be optimistic about.

They have made a statement regarding clan relations, clan wars is not being worked on nor do they plan to work on it in the near future. Their goals are to keep their investors happy and make them money, the loot system overhaul falls in line with that agenda.

Agree with OP. Here's to hoping for the game we all love to improve.

I get what you're saying. I don't want to know whats ruled out. I want to know the opinions and goals of the people working on the game. Obviously they are making money, but they also care about their game.

I agree that the community needs to relax and wait. However your statement is off base on a few spots.

not everyone is mad, in fact a large portion of the community is happy. There are things everyone would like to see happen within CoC, the fact they haven't doesn't mean 'we are all angry.'

you really have no idea what's 'delayed' the next update. Maybe they're getting it right like you said. Maybe there's a programming issue. Maybe it's something big they're working on. Maybe they're just taking extra time because of all the holidays. You have no idea and neither do I.

you're saying everyone needs to stop flaming and stop complaining, yet the entirety of your post is a complaint to SC.

I like what you are saying and agree 100%, it would be nice for SC to throw us a bone every now and then....that way if I know for certain no fix is coming, I might need to move on....:mad:

Could someone please post a link to this statement? I've heard both that clan wars are in the works and that they're nowhere near. It seems that info on what's being considered vs ruled out seems to get posted in the middle of other threads, and I can't keep track. Thanks!
