Important Notes
1. Please make an effort to donate a respectable number of units in correspondence with how many units you request and receive.
2. If you do not have at least Lvl3 troops yet, please do not donate anything but archers and specialty troops. Members with harder attacks cannot do anything with Lvl2 Giants or Lvl2 Barbarians for example. We understand this limits your options to donate quite a bit but it is the only solution to keep everyone happy. Archers are the default donation so if someone doesn't specify a type of troop requested ("Fill me up" or "I need reinforcement troops"), thats your que.
3. Archers are ALWAYS default donation to requests EXCEPT when Giants are requested. Requests left unfilled for a short time period (30sec-1min) can be filled with archers.
4. Please do not request troop lvls that you yourself do not have! It is not acceptable to request Lvl5+ Giants when you only have Lvl3 for yourself. You will receive lvl5 and 6 troops from time to time but requesting this way limits others from having the opportunity to donate.
5. Stay active and attack as much as possible. Farming for loot involves attacking as many bases as you have time for so that you can upgrade your defenses and troop levels. Collecting from mines can help saving up efforts but does very little compared to effective attacking.
6. We are a farming clan with trophy pushes every 6-8 weeks. There is no need to attack for trophies when we are in farming mode. You need to find a good level to farm in and stay there. Farming too high will be too hard for you and farming too low will only yield small loot takes each time. If you need help finding a good farming level please ask one of the elder members for help.
7. **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** We can't stress enough the importance of upgrading your defenses and troop levels before you upgrade your townhall! If you upgrade your townhall too soon, it will make farming at the next level much harder thus delaying your progression through the game. Try to upgrade as much as you can BEFORE townhall. This especially applies from TH7 on up!
8. Unfortunately, we will not be able to keep members for the following:
Freeloading (not donating respectable amounts)
Inactivity (very few or zero attacks)
Immaturity (the sister clan is mainly adults and mature young adults where childish behaviors
will not be tolerated therefore we could never recommend you for advancement if you
cannot be mature so there would be no point in stringing you along)
Hoppers(if you need to leave clan for any reason please let an elder know and why)
I hope this clarifies some things. If anything else comes up I will address each of them on this thread. If you have questions you can also register for supercell's forums and post them on this thread. In order to see who make sure you read this information I am including a password that will get you elder status IF and ONLY IF you meet the active status and donations requirements. January 17, 2014: EXCITING NEWS! Due to high demand and set limit on available slots in gold-n-goo, we have created a sister clan GOO-N-GOLD that will act as a feeder and will service mid-range clashers between the Lvls 30-50+ range. If you are an active player having a hard time getting into a good clan with your current experience and troop levels, becoming a member of a feeder is a great way to get your foot in the door. We will have some senior member available with high troops and other founders will stop by periodically to hand out freebies to loyal members! (nothing like some Lvl5 hogs to wreck someone's base!)
Members interested in graduating and moving up to gold-n-goo will be evaluated as they improve in status and ranking. Generally, Lvl 5 and Lvl 6 troops are required to make the transition. As you probably already know, members come and go and even sometimes return again so it is an ever changing landscape and opportunity awaits those players who remain active and show loyalty.
