solution for lightning on DEa
hello iv seen a lot of ppl complaining about ppl throwing off lightning on DE. i know its really annoying, yet i do it all the time.... Anyways some guy attacked me and used 3 lightning on my de and it was kind of annoying, and i immagine that its a lot worse for farmers that farm near town halls 7. So here is how to annoy the person that did this to u with style.
- step 1 see if he has a shield
- Step 2 drop about 100 trophies
- step 3 revenge him ( u wil probably have like 50 trophies available)
- step 4 3 star his bace with the best army composition u got.
- and thats about it, he will lose 50 trophies for dropping lightning on your storage :cool::cool:

inconvenient waste of time and effort. Just have SC remove the ability for lightening to "steal" resource...or add an upgrade that shields DE storage from lightening...

Yeah just like tesla vs pekka. Dark elixer storage should receive like 25% damage from lightning strikes. So simple to fix :p

Do you think people who's lighting DE storages care about trophy at that point in time? No, they don't.

I want to preface with, I ABSOLUTELY hate people who lightning my de. Nothing infuriates me more frankly. But is there a solution other than limiting lightning's damage on the storage? I could see horror stories of people failing 49% raids unable to lightning a storage.

If your a high lv in gold 2,3 and below then you can't complain you get dark lightinged you farm smaller peeps where they can't get there loot back cause you higher lv so the only thing they can't do to you in blue spell your dark storage if your lv 90+ sitting in gold and silver you should get your dark storage blue spelled its only fair im th 9 and I get my storage blue spelled,all the time if im going to farm smaller peeps i need to expect that to happen

When I was a new town hall 7 I *occasionally* use light spells on DE storages. Now I'm a month into TH9 it happens to me. Guess what? Farmers farm bases of weaker players, and weaker players use light spells on farmers. It's a vicious cycle. Get used to it and stop complaining.

Or supercell could change only giving resources from storages if it is more than 70% damaged.

Supercell should just make it so spells do damage on the storage, but dont actually take loot.

No this should never be added because we say that you find a base with 300k gold. And then you zap the storages and get nothing. That would be totally ridiciulos

It's the lower levels' way of saying "Keep out of my trophy range and go up to crystal where you are supposed to be." So well it's their trophy range and it's their playground, let them have it or move up :p.

I only use lightning spells when:
a) They have 2K plus available, and snipe their Town Hall
b) Well, if you put traps near your Town Hall, you deserve it

If you ask me, no, it should not change, they used that strategy against people at lower Town Hall levels, they get what's coming.

You should get to the storages the right way or leave it alone. That is the same in my book as zapping the DE.

Doesn't need any modification. Lightning v de is just a part of the game. Go up in trophies enough and you will see it much less often. I find that in crystal 3 I rarely see those types of attacks.

So you seem to acknowledge that trophies don't matter by suggesting that one lower his/hers by 100 to lower the trophies of the zapper, yet still consider this to be sensible. Brilliant.

Get your cups up and farm at your level and your dark wont get zapped. Supercell will not - and, frankly, should not - get rid of this tactic. It keeps bully-type farmers in check. It's a pretty good deterrent.

When I Barch at 1800 I carry 4 lightning spells. Farm gold with troops, lightning DE when finding a good juicy 3000+ TH10, often gives 1500DE.

I hate when people do it to me.

But I have being levelled when pushing too. I hate losing stuff simply.

Counter shield

Why not allow a counter shield for your gold, elixir or dark elixir. If you have a huge amount you want protected, you would be able to buy with gold or elixir for your loot you want to protect (1 or all 3)from the lighting spell only. Purchased in 1-3 levels for 1-3 lighting spells. Those then using the spell will be taking a chance getting nothing.

I don't really care, I used to zap people as well. Agree or not, lightning was one of the best way for th7s to gain DE.
