Yes, there are lots of different ways to enjoy the game but if you're not moving your base forward I guess people get bored and leave (or don't play as much). You cannot constantly chase cups without upgrading your base. If you're unwilling or unable to upgrade your defenses to max TH10 level then you wont get very far up the leaderboard.

Please don't reply about the guy with only 1 cannon. We all know that guy uses an auto clicking tool to stay online 23.5 hours a day. Not exactly practical for everyone.

Totally with u on this, ive gone from raiding every 20 mins pullin 5-6 mil per day up until i upgraded to th10 last week, since then the game has become unplayable.

When the last update was released supercell stated they wanted to ensure the game doesnt 'punish players for progression' - now im a th10 i can clearly see this isnt the case

I wish id stayed at th9 and got my walls to lvl 10 instead of 9. Ive played this game every day for over a year now and i am completely gutted that i now find it unplayable.

Sort it out supercell, please

But we are not at the point of not being able to progress. Yes some might not be able to upgrade all their splashes consecutive without sleeping builders in between, but is that what everyone is entitled to, regardless of play time?

The loot system shouldn't guarantee that everyone who plays 4 hours a day will get to upgrade everything at the fastest rate. It relies heavily on how long others are playing.

If you scale down the economy to the size of 5 active players who play 10 hours a day, 4 inactive bases, and 2 players playing 3 hours a day, you will clearly see where the loot will go, and no amount of loot can help the situation. This is not even taking into account raiding skills.

So, my point is that since this is a zero sum game with a fix time loot production, there are only so many people who can have gold to upgrade in the most optimum manner, and some of us might not be one of them.

I gotta agree with you here. Not everyone will have the same benefit of this update. the less active will of course gain less loot, just like always, than the more active.

needless to say, there is a serious lack of loot throughout the game at the moment. Sure we shouldn't theoretically have 5 upgrades constantly going that cost 6m+ each, but there was a time when this was possible. More recently i haven't been finding the raids on either my TH10 account and my TH8.

You have a good point there though, but there is need for some more loot in the system, I personally feel

Well, if you have been playing 18 months and don't want to buy gems, you kinda have to grind out LVL12 AT's at 7.5 million each. or 6.4 million for lvl 12 cannons, or 7.56 million for Air Defense, or 6.48mil for Wizard towers, or 8 mil for lvl 4 xbow/ lvl 3 Inferno tower...or 3 mil for a lvl 10 wall. I could go on.

What other options are there? Cup hunting right? That's what this game is based on. How many cups you have. Oh, to get anywhere near the top you need to have a near maxed/maxed TH10. Oh, how do you do that? Oh thats right, you need gold and DE, lets not forget the 8 mil a pc for upgrades in the Lab.

Lets also not forget how TH10's can't attack anything lower than a TH9, drastically limiting the amount of targets to choose from.

So tell me how am I supposed to save up resources to upgrade my defenses to defend my cups with this current loot system....

My opinion is that upgrades don't have to be done at the fastest rate, and sleeping builders are not exactly the end of the world.

It's just that i see so many people complaining about loot, and yet when i check their base they already have enough for another upgrade, and that's assuming the builder finishes immediately. Chances are there are still a few more days to the next builder and by then he should have more than enough.

You are entitled to your opinion, but when upgrades take 10-14 days, it sucks having idle builders. If feels like your base is at a stand still. SC just threw a wrench in the gears, and TH10's like myself are being starved to death. I just want to play with my TH7 account instead because I feel like I can actually make progress.

A lot of other players are saying that TH10 is farming heaven now. So i'm a little unsure as to why u are experiecing bad loot.

Perhaps you can try looking around the TSQ section for tips and guides?

Then why was that the model that CoC made us accustomed to over the last year+? What was wrong? Why the change?
