It's getting to that point for me too. I've never been so frustrated playing this game, because of a change that didn't need to be made.

I'm a TH 8, and some days are better than others when farming, but mostly I can find bases with 500K plus resources most times.
In my clan TH9's are enjoying an abundance of loot and doesn't seem to be an issue as the loot available from TH7's is still high.
TH10's are struggling unless you farm in the 2500+ trophy range! at which you're likely to only achieve 50% of available resources. With expensive troops too, so you're not only looking for a profit in gold, after spending 30-40k (conservative opinion) on finding an acceptable raid!! You're also gonna need elixir!! So even if you find a 250/250 raid it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out the profit margin after cooking your army (plus spells, if you use them) minus the cost of finding the raid
Current loot system for TH10's is not working for me. If a TH10 is maxed and trophy hunting only then it wouldn't matter but as most upgrades cost upwards of 6mil you have to fill the coffers just to do one upgrade and wait 10-14 days!!! Then start farming... again.
In my opinion this has been the worst update to the loot system since the game began and I started playing a month after the game was available. Still love the game and community aspect but this needs careful consideration. Thank you for listening.

Not to be rude, but this is about town hall level 10 farming. Town hall level 8's will never have a problem with loot because your troops are just barely strong enough to attack low level 10 TH's and you still have level 7 town halls to wipe clean for minimum 200k each. Not to forget your most expensive upgrade is only 3 mil ish.
TH9's have to worry about getting wiped out by TH lvl 10's but again, they have the option of wiping out the TH lvl 8's for a max of 250-300k from just the storages.
What do LVL10's have to look forward to finding? Hopefully a premature LVL 10 or a maxed out LVL 9 with full storages for a max of 365k from storages. Thats it. We don't have anyone above us to watch out for, but we don't have that extra bracket to add to our pool of bases to attack.

The other problem i have found is the higher you go the more your net gold profit is lost in trap defence against hog and balloonians attacks.. The fact of the matter is this update has dramatically reduced the per hour gold profits while also making it more gold expensive to search and defend those reduced gold profits. So th10 are suffering more than ever.
It has always been a part of my game to watch my net per hour gold profit very carefully and i know that since the SoftBank purchase the updates have drastically reduced my net gold per hour rate to 50%-55% (off peak week) and 60-70% (peak week). peak weekends are now unplayable as are maintenance breaks which are around 80-90%..
