[Consulting] Designing an almost unlurable barbarian king& archer queenTH9 base.
Hi! :D Before I began I would like to say that this is an on going project and I will be updating them inconstantly daily. So stay tuned.
The title speaks from itself.
I am currently on townhall 8 and will be reaching town hall level 9 in afew days. And I was wondering if it's possible to make one almost unlureable "open" base that make use of funneling and choke points to separate the giants and archers.
Due to the range of the barbarian king and archer queen (Wooping 13 squares. 16 if you include their wandering range) it's almost close to impossible to make it unlureable. So my plan is to wall up and make the base to be almost impossible to lure without the usage of war hogs and requires some timing to lure them out.
Facts:
1)base will be big and wide. (ESTIMATED 35 SQUARES BY 35 SQUARES)
2)lots of funneling and choke points with the full usage of splash units for maximum damage.
3)Defensive buildings will be spread out evently on the first two outer layers to funnel them and traps will be layed out.
DESIGN COMING OUT SOON. NEEDS TONS OF HELP FROM YOU GUYS FOR ADVICE ON FUNNELING. (EST TIME 12 HOURS FROM POSTING TIME.)
Advantages.
1- As base is wide spread. Spells are less effective for raiders as building are more spread out and unlike bases with compacted layout, it's impossible to cover the tons of buildings with just one spell.
2- Huge spaces means hard to predict troops movement and more walking time for troops. If you don't use the base everyday it's hard to know where your troops will be going and how are you gonna re-enforce them easily.
3- the base will have quite afew empty gaps. meaning it's hard for the attackers to know where are the traps and hence it's hard to estimate which side to attack will be more efficient.
4- made full useage of the barbarian king and queen as part of the defence.
5- Hard to lure kings and queens with impossible to lure clan castle.
Disadvantages.
1- wide spread base means spread out defenses so high Hp troops like pekka/golem will be able to move around and destroy more buildings with the support of archers at the back.
2- barbarian king & queen easily lureable with one-two hog rider(s).
3- weak to well timed wall breakers + giant timing.
So Sorry That I am unable to come out with a final design now. I will update this as soon as possible. I hope I can get some pointers about this idea. Thanks! :D
