What is the best troop to defend in your Clan castle?

Hi fellow clashers, i am just curious to know what you all think are the best troops or best troops combo in a clan castle to defend your base. Lets assume that your clan castle is maxed out, having 30 troops capacity and your clan castle is centralised.

My opinion: I think minions are one of the best troops to defend as they are fast in moving and they deal quick damage to units.

What you guys think?Pls share ;););)

IMO, I'd say wizards are the best. The reason I say that is because high lvl wizards can take care of many armies due to their heavy splash damage, so basically, if you attack with ONLY giants and there's wizards in the clan castle, you are doomed..

7 Wizards and 2 Archers. Wizards = awesome splash, while the Archers = cheap and fills the other 2 slots. :D

Cool :cool: Already half the battle won if attackers forget to lure out the wizards and the wizards are being on the asses of hog riders and giants haha

I believe wizards are by far the best. If you have an unlurable cc, they will rip apart an opposing army.

Part wiz, part barb. If I have to pick only one, wiz all day.

From a farming perspective:

wizards are really good all around. they attack both ground and air but very susceptible to the lightning spell. but even when the attacker drops a lightning spell on the wizards, they usually can get one or two shots off. And that is usually enough to kill a good portion of the giants.
Dragons are not as good as many of you think. with giants tanking in a healing spell, well placed archers can make short work of them.
The most underrated CC troops is the balloons. They don't die to one lightning, and burst out unhealable damage. 1 balloon 1 shot is 400+ damage. so 3 of them will 1 shot a clumped up group of giants. The only drawbacks is they don't attack air.
Archers are cheap/accessible units in CC.

but wizard is the best on both offense and defense, the damage and splash effect is suiting both of it,
