Why are you raiding these days?

Just a quick question. Ive recently come off a big push and am trying to get as much loot as i can on the way down from those outside storages (which there have been a lack of surprisingly) The ONLY reason i am raiding now is to collect resources for the new update. If this update is a disappointment I shall raid no more and will no doubt end up quitting the game. Im fed up of wasting my time pressing next - at pretty much every trophy level for th10! Ive been 2000 all the way to 3200 and its barely different.

So why are you guys still raiding (if you even are?) If the answer is walls, why are you doing that? winning a defence up in champ is a huge rarity, and im guessing the point of farming walls is so your base stands a better chance of winning at higher trophy levels.

Supercell really need to give us a new incentive to raid, leagues were cool to begin and the badge is a cool extra, but its starting to become pointless now as so many people can easily get the master badge these days due to how easy it is to win attacks.. master badge is nothing special at all now! Back when leagues were introduced Master badge was pretty damn amazing, but now there are so many, what is the point?

Please, why another thread complaining with the loot?????It's FINE, not ALL bases will have loot because they spent it all!!

Also I am raiding for defences upgrades, I have been finding GREAT loot, I am happy about what SC did. I have upgraded all my arch towers to 9 and all cannons to 10 thanks to all this loot :)

So stop complaining, If you hate the loot then quit NOW.

EDIT: Also Master league is still hard to get up to, People have been getting up to it because they wanna be up there, and BASES are hard to defeat, People with good bases get to master league, So stop complaining and enjoy what SC have made.

as i have stated i am not quitting until i see the update.
It might be good for you, but as you can tell for pretty much every player it has been terrible.
The thread was not opened to complain about loot.. I want to know why people raid.

Master league is certainly not difficult to reach. I see many th8 bases with the badge when im searching (I stay 2600 these days as it seems to be the best place to find loot) as well as very weak th9/10 and open th to pick off (for example my th is outside) There needs to be a new incentive to raid

Loot probably isn't going to get better. Silence from SC for this long on the loot problem suggests that they don't care.

If you're raiding while you drop expect to hit next for 15-20 mins before finding a good base to loot. At least that's generally how long it take me to find a base with 150k+ gold in the 1400-1800 range.

I'm raiding because i find it to be enjoyable.

I'm still a noob so my raids always give me surprises. Like when i thought there will be a giant bomb right there but there is not, vice versa. Or learning how to attack efficiently. Upgrade my defense structures because i feel that all new level buildings are better looking than their current level. Also not to mention the triumphant feeling that i get when the raid goes the way i planned.

It was why i started playing this game, it's also the reason i'm still playing.

you see i dont understand the point of this! once you achieve it, then what! it might be a remarkable achievment but the point of upgrading walls is so your base will perform batter at higher trophy levels, and since one is unable to maintain these levels, and defensive wins for any base is a rarity, i do not see the point (apart from aesthetics, which in my opinion for the effort involved isnt worth it)

It might not be my place to answer on behalf of the Great Potato, but i'll try.

She did say she have OCD, so it all began with that single lava wall, and now she is cursed, doomed to farm for the rest of the lava walls for all eternity.

Or in short, it's because she has OCD.

There is a huge difference between loot at 3200 and loot at 2000. You certainly do not have to click next very much to find a good base to farm over 3000.

Walls are also very useful. They protect loot and trophies. They can often be the difference between losing twice as much resource or another star or two.

i see your point. I find raiding while pushing enjoyable, and since i have been staying at master recently using hogs i am finding that to be quite fun, but i have no aim really, I cant see my base getting much better to change anything apart from walls, and i havent had all of my builders working for months. I myself feel the level 10 archer towers look the best so am finished with them.

Im not one of those people that will do things for the hell of it, i always like to have a goal to achieve otherwise i feel the effort is wasted. (that doesnt make me boring, i still enjoy things, I just prefer to have something to work towards) but im starting to become less and less enthusiastic about raiding :(
