Look at the total amount of elixer you would be getting. Filling completely is only 40,320 elixer more than filling halfway.

That isn't nonsense at all. There's hardly any difference between the Fill Half and Fill option because there's only a 40000 Elixer difference.

it makes perfect sense, you pay 1400 gems for half of the capacity of the elixir storage to be filled or you pay 1411 for the elixir storage to be filled to the max

Look at my elix total. I would pay 1400 gems for 800 elix or 1411 gems for 4+ mil elix.

Ahh yes. BUT! If I didn't have almost 4 mil elix, those gem costs would double. ;)

Nope, this post is the only nonsense I see here. If you had taken the time to understand that the OP as confused as to how the system worked, maybe you would have explained it to him better and left out your pathetic comment.

ah the op has a clear misunderstanding, filling it by half, adds 50% of the capacity, it does not bring it to the 50% mark for example my max loot was 8 mil and I had 3 mil filling it by half would bring me to 7 mil not 4 mil.
