I watched the video and there was a clip 10 minutes into the video of super witches crushing but time failing.. Now Carbon did use a super witch attack with success at the end of the video, but as I said the exceptions don't define reality. This may be from the select few clash youtubers i watch, but I feel like the general consensus is that they're too slow.

I understand that the main concern is that even a slight buff could cause it to be overpowered, but for a troop that you can only use for one week, and then you have to wait another week before using it.. I would expect it to be as consistent as hybrid, drag bat, lavaloon.. Maybe I am looking at the purpose of super troops wrong?

Not without sufficient evidence and discussion :) I am open minded, totally open to discussion and viewing things from another perspective. But if you simply say "watch this, this is OP", I don't see that as evidence. I have seen cases in which people three star with all types of troops.. Does that mean that since they were used in a three star attack a few times, there shouldn't be buffs? The point is to even out the playing field, make one attack method as consistent and usable as others. Since the housing space of super witches is so high and given the characteristics of the troop itself, it can be defined as its own category of attack. Fact of the matter is that its success/usage rate is well below other commonly used attacks. Now i dont have the statistics to back it up, but as i said, from the youtubers i watch and from playing the game, the general consensus is that it is too slow.

You should not totally make decisions on youtubers as they only show lucky attacks.
I am not saying super witch needs buff but your reason for saying totally depends on youtube video which is not satisfying (acceptable).
