I attack from whichever side looks weakest.
Honestly it depends. I try and find the teslas and bombs first, and take it from there.
I have no preference. It all depends on how the base is laid out. Where the resources are, where the defenses are that I would like to take out quicker than any other.. It all depends on a lot of things to be honest.

Theoretically the side which is weakest should be attacked.
But what if the base is symmetrical from all sides ? so attacking from any side is the same, in that case which side would be preferred ?
i think most of the ppl (incl) myself would prefer south, that is because the hands don't come in between and create distraction while deploying troops and i feel i have a better view of attack and whats going on.
Also i think its a little psychological point that you feel the south has more space than north side.
