Valkyries

I a pretty sure there is no question Valkyries are the most worthless troop in COC.

Playing a fair bit of boom beach lately and I think a simple fix and a new twist would be make them like warriors in boom beach (they kind of look like similar types of troops). Having them regen hp with each attack would not only make them more useful but would add something a bit different to attacks.

At first I thought the training time needed to come down but as mass Valkyries may be a bit powerful after this change the training time is probably ok so it’s not an army someone can constantly raid with and end up with constant nerfs like hogs.

For those who don't play warriors in boom beach are a fast Aztec looking character who has a giant hammer. They are a very fast melee troop that regens hp each time they hit a target.

Actually I would say they are pretty strong, they are hardly used not because they are weak but becuase they are extremely expensive, lots of dark elixir and time to train.

Have you got any vids of them successfully taking on strong bases? I am only TH9 and been attacked with valks a few times and they have never got past 20% and every video I have seen of them failed pretty badly.

I am sure they can steamroll weak bases but so can any troop

Yeah, I upgraded my to lvl 2, but still pretty worthless. Heard they are decent for D against hogs because of splash, but most cc's only fit three.

They are kinda hot though, so that's something.

No no.

They are not the worst troop in the game at all. Not even close. The thing is, Valkyries won't cut it in my army due to their expensive cost in DE and long training time. We don't need a preferred target or giant boost in HP/DPS. I think all the Valkyrie needs is less training time and smaller DE price. Maybe an increased splash radius would be good.

Wow i could see valks as a top level strategy a long as you can get them into the walls instead of going around

I agree valks stink as is, except they are solid for defense on the he clan castle. To me their housing space and training time needs to come down. Mine are at level 2 with no plans to upgrade them further, but knowing my luck they will change them and ad I will be scrambling to get them upgraded.

Haha. Wiz do a better job with a distanced splash damage attack for far less costs in both time and resources.

Even in that one he barely got 50% and only got a one star win. Even then most of the damage was done by his high level king and queen. If not for the king and queen he would not have even got close to one star.

Wizards with those healers would have most likely done a better job

AGREED. The health regen would make it a more unique troop though...

Almost all high level attacks are dictated solely by the king and queen.

Don't disagree the point was that video didn't really show much as far as Valks go. If he replaced them with almost any other troop the raid would have gone the same or better.

He could have swapped them with PEKKA's and they would have done the same thing but probably got further around the base. If he swapped them with wizards or witches they probably would have followed the BK and AQ and got the 2 star.

hogs we re worthless when they didn t attack defences .

maybe if they make her attack deffences and storages only and reduce the time by 8 min or 5 min instead of 15 and make the housing space 5 or 10 LOL

these ladies WRECK bases in MULTIPLE different armies, people just don't know how to use them most effectively - if you want to see what these ladies can do ... Visit Valhalla and take your pick of the replays
