Would it be bad for me to raid more bases as a TH3?

So, my noob sheild finally ran out and I decided to go hunting. Quickly 3-starred 2 people and I'm taking a break now. I was also attacked a few minutes ago, but my Defense won out giving me a 12 hour sheild and more trophies. I'm at 79 trophies right now, waiting to max out TH3.

Would it be bad for me to continue raiding? I don't want to get beat into smithereens by higher leveled, low trophy count farmers, but at the same time I enjoy raiding. Basically, what's best for me in the long term? I'm short on gold from upgrading all my defenses so raiding has been useful.

Raid, raid, raid, raid, raid. And after that, raid some more.

Up to you, My advice is carry on raiding.

Keep raiding while your builders are busy and rest when your storages are full. Always keep those storages full for as long as you can !

People (usually) don't attack people for the hell of it. They will only attack if it benefits them. If you are a th3, you have absolutely nothing to worry about because you wont have any loot to justify the attack

I'm just curious what a maxed TH3 is like? Only time i go to 79 trophies is sub200 farming and I certainly pass on the 4k gold bases :P

Honestly I have no idea how to take a Screenshot. It's not maxed out yet though. I'm still working on walls, clearing the field, storage upgrades and the clan castle (so no, I'm not in a clan).

Just keep raiding. If you start to get too high on cups to the point you can't beat anyone just drop some cups and carry on raiding

at that level , you'll only lose 1 trophy . just keep on raiding

Raid away! I would recommend that you focus on getting resources. Don't worry about winning or losing trophies.

Continue raiding. Easy pickins get more sparse as you get in the 300 trophy range, but opportunities to pick off low hanging fruit (the almost full gold mine they put just out of cannon range, 1 archer for a few thousand gold FTW, this keeps your trophy count at reasonable levels if you quit while ahead and surrender btw)) still exist quite a bit.

lol I am also TH3, but I've been off the shield for 24+ hours now and am almost maxed out at TH3. No raid has done more than 40% to me and I've had morons throw the kitchen sink when I only had 1,000 of each resource. I had somebody who had literally 50,000 gold free for the taking raid me, but he has not been offline since then so no sweet revenge :(

Raid,raid and raid.While you at it,do more raiding aswell.Also this TH3 talk is reminding me of my TH3 times :P (Got Clan Castle at TH4,rushed to TH5,maxed TH5,went to TH6 and maxed that and went to TH7.Now I almost have enough gold for TH8 :D)

Yeah i agree that loot is the best thing to look for when you first start (and almost everywhere).

P.S. OP you seem like you know more about this game than a lot of TH5s

Just don't let yourself hide behind that shield. Cowards do that! And ofcourse you are not one as you chose to play CoC!

Looks like I jinxed myself. While at work somebody raided me that was so high he only got a fraction of my actual resources. Joke is on him. He used 56 lvl 2 barbarians, 21 lvl 2 archers, 20 lvl 2 goblins, 2 giants and a wallbreaker for a haul of 6300 elixir lol. This guy must be tanking severely to be in the same ballpark as me in trophies.

Whatever you can be stolen from you in one raid, can be recovered in a single raid... so go out raid raid and raid

Continue raiding BUT stop, then make a losing attack to make ur trophies fall and attack ....
