I have a town hall 8 and I am a silver 1. I have been farming at this level for quite a while and I was wondering if anyone could give me tips I usually try for 150,000 of each but i don't know if that is too low of an amount. I take 111 goblins 7 giants 7 wall breakers and 40 archers.

Yes thats a great place to farm for TH8 i found alot of 300k+ there. and about your troops what ^ said its true.. by the way i love your sig.
As others have said, TH8 is a great place to farm and it's important you max out. I'm not so keen on your attack strategy, I think you'd be better off using 'Barch'. It involves Barbs, Archers and Wallbreakers- you can find some great tips & tricks on youtube. I normally look for 200k gold, but 150k always helps.

Matthewe I have been doing exactly everything that you said I should be doing I always max everything out I'm totally OCD about that. All my walls are level 7 I just got a level 8, and I plan on posting a picture of my base I copied one I found online because I'm not very good at coming up with a good base.
jc1589b. Lol I'm so jealous I have only found about 3 raids like that. I used to try for 200,000 a raid but it took awhile and for some reason the loot has been lower so I try for 150k. I'm sorry i didnt get what you meant when you said "and about what you said ^ its true."

2 healers, 4 wizards, 28 each of barbs/goblins/archers, 6 WB and 12 giants. Ca 30 minutes build time, not the absolute cheapest, not the strongest but decent mix of both. First base this morning gave me over 400000 gold. I'm TH8 too and use to farm around 1400-1600.
2 rage and 1 heal is good too have when you need.
Actually my question is...What do you consider to be a good amount of loot in a farming raid how much should I try for and what is too low?
Stumped, Erm I would go for 100+ as I have been searching thru raids! then I see a base which is sort of easy and 100k i skip it then it takes ages for me to find at least another base with 100K have been getting good loot recently and thinking of posting a pic of my base, as I might need some tips :DQuote:
