I understand that. We have to be reasonable. This is a suggestion.
Agreed they lowered it. It's a decrease of about 1/5th the gems in comparison to the time given for what you pay. That's from the original costs I walked into, which is most likely less then even before that. However in an attempt to appeal to players over time the idea I mentioned would be more appealing. Wouldnt you agree that no one likes wasting money, right? Most people like to pop on for an hour or two here and there, no be strapped to an app for 4 hours... So the 4 hour lot that is offered can be a waste of money. That's the important part.
Take the 20 gem cost for 4 hours and break it up to a per hour boast. That in itself would be beneficial for players. Looking at the big picture Supercell would still make money and gain players buying these boasts more in the long run. I myself can not afford to waste boasts, and will get tired of wasting money on an app I love, however this change I'm suggesting would not be far off from where I had originally stated "2-3 gems for an hour, or 4 gems."
Everyone wins right? Supercell makes money, and players can manage their gems/money better while not losing money...
