Hey everyone, just made it to the Masters league and was looking for some advise for good attacking strategies.
On my way up Crystal league 1 i used balloons and minions which worked well for getting 50% each time but presume that strategy may not work as well in Masters.
Any advise is welcome cheers
Should also state using the balloonion attack does give me heart attacks each time so would be good looking for a less stressful strategy :D
If you are able to boost your spell factory then balloons/minions can serve you well until Masters I (sometimes higher)
Ballonion again, aim for 50%, choose base with inferno and xbow in the center.
Don't ever release them all at once unless you're sure that they'll get to the core.
If you're th9, use 1 lightning, 1 rage, 2 heal (at least that's what I normally bring to the battle). But most of the time I only used 2 heal.

However as snitch said you will need all spells, balloon/minion is certainly not the strongest army, but if you aren't gemming army times etc. and don't want to wait forever, balloons is the best way forward!
Make sure you pick right base, better the spend 10 minutes searching for correct base then 2 hours re-gaining trophies after a defeat! Good luck my friend!

Yeah, always difficult..you can get a nice run somewhere though I always find, that helps alot! Do you have 240 army camp space? Level 5 spell caster?Quote:

I used the ballon/minion army up until Crystal 2 and then switched to the dread hogs (4 healing and 1 lightening). Hogs are cheap, quick to train and effective up until around 2950. After 2950 It starts getting hard really quick. My hog raids were all a cake walk up until around 2800. Like I said earlier at 2950 it darn near impossible for me, so I switched to drags.
Lastly, to my surprise the surgical ballon attack has been quite affective on me (I'm Master II). You can also go dragon, thats a sure win, but drags are very expensive and take forever and a day to train.
I only have a baby golem (lvl 1) so I cant use GOWIPE.

The strategies I know about that works well in master is:
Hogs- getting really difficult but skilled attackers still manages, avoid double multi infernos and forget about 3 stars, still gets you 50% and the occasionally 2 star. 4 Heals is almost a must in every attack.
Barcher- Cheap but a bit risky if you aren't used to it. Great guide by bighowie83 here http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...hies-in-a-week
Gowiwi- Expensive, a bit OP for master in my opinion and require high lvl heroes.
Gowipe- Expensive and long training time but pretty easy to use, make sure your golem and pekkas aim for the center and throw in some rage spells. Using CC troops to aim for the center is one way, otherwise just clear the surrounding Buildings.
Dragon- Very Heavy on the Elixir since you might need to use your spells aswell. The "L shape deployment" or deploying 1 or 2 on each side Before putting the main force in is a good way to get them to aim for the TH. Rage your dragons since they are quite slow or use 3 Lightnings for AD. CC troops is for the most part no problem since the dragons do splash, a witch or 2 will take some time to take out though. Seen a strategy where people throw in 1 golem and the heroes for 1 AD and Lightning the second Before deploying their dragons aswell.
Bami- Not that expensive and the training time is ok considering the cup range, Used it myself to 3200 one day ago. Aim for 50% by deploying your balloons in small bundles, found a few bases to 2 star from 2600-3200 trophies but Went for the 50% mark 97% of my attacks. Brought 1 Lightning and 4 rages (used 2-3 spells in average) and the army was 28 balloons and 50 minions, keep your CC and heroes ready for emergencys.
