Heroes have no use for Defense!

The Barbarian King and Archer Queen, aren't very useful for Defense. They get lured out of the base, so the attacker wastes about 10-25 Archers or Barbarians to bring down a Hero, and then use all of their other troops. Then after the attack my Heroes have to be cured and it takes so long. So he only possible solution would be for the range to be shorter, as shown in the image!

1. If you think the range is perfect now vote: Red
2. If you think it should be a little shorter vote: Blue
3. If you think it should be much shorter vote: Orange
4. If you think it should be larger vote: Larger
5. If you think it should be even less vote: Less

​This way the Heroes wouldn't be lured out that easily! Those that have maxed or high lvl. heroes it must be difficult for them not being able to use them on defense! But take in mind that the hero does walk around and the range reaches further, so for that it should be very much shorter!

They are fine as they are.

Could you imagine fighting bases if the heroes were almost impossible to lure? Sure our defense would be better but would be a nightmare for attacks.

While they are somewhat easy to lure, they still burn attackers time and a handful of troops. Don't underestimate that value.

I have had a few defenses - particularly at the moment as I have jumped to Crystal II where the attacker has ran out of time. Because they spent a large portion of it luring, isolating and killing my heroes [and CC] first.

Time is an asset, even lured heroes buy you time.

A larger range would make it easier for players who attack a lot. I think most of us on the forums attack way more times than we defend. If a player is worried about the time it take to heal the hero then put him to sleep before you log off.

No need for false insults! I know i can put them to sleep, i am an experienced clasher! But we do want them to defend our base! Next a lot of High lvl players, do have their Heroes protected by walls, and I'm sure some or a lot would like for the range to be shorter!

Do I want to attack a base with practically unlurable maxed heroes?

nice poll. this matter has been troubling me a lot. heroes are 95% of the time lurable so they will most likely get killed and its not worth if u dont gem and wait for them to heal so you can attack ...
I personally let them sleep while trophy hunt. at least ill have them ready for offence.
If they get a lower range it would be very useful for the result of the defence will be very troubling for the attacker.

Yes good point, but with the "blue" range it is not unlurable if you think it through, although a little harder, but not impossible! :p

just set up your base close to an edge and make sure more than one of your defenses reaches the treeline and put your heroes on that side.

on my base i have a maxed AT and Canoon that can reach all the way to the corner of the treeline and my queen is inside the base close to that corner. if she is lured that other defenses will take them out before she even gets outside the walls or the attacker will have to keep spamming to lure her out....that equas wasting time and troops. just an idea not every problem needs to be solved by SC some like this one is just about you desing your base and set up your heroes.

anywhere they try to lure them out they have defenses covering that area if they try from the other side they will get withing defenses range before heroes have a chance to react
