Best Hunting Tips 2014 (User Submitted)
Hey fellow clashers, Troja here. Many of you probably know me... Doesn't matter if, if not then i'm just a loner looking for friends. Anyway whole point here is for you guys to share your TH Hunting strategies,tips,questions, anything generally. THANK YOU AND CLASH ON!

TH 5:
Strategy- BarbWiWi
Town Hall- As long as you have wizards (min. Town Hall 5) you are OK
Maximum Trophy Count- 1502 (As a TH 5 in April)
-HOW TO-
Optimal for 135 Camp Spaces
7 Wall Breakers
53 Barbarians
17 Wizards
1 Lightning Spell
Step 1: Check for Clan Castle troops with barbarians. Lightning if necessary.
Step 2: Deploy a wave of Barbarians to tank for Wizards.
Step 3: Wizards clear buildings and help Barbarians.
Step 4: Deploy Wall Breakers to get into the core. At higher trophy counts, try to get into 2 or 3 compartments.
Step 5: Try to take out the entire base (lower trophies) or to get 50% and Town Hall.
Repeat.

TH 6:
-Strategy Name: Giant Healer with a slight twist (no barbs/archers)
-HOW TO - giants in to tank, prioritise the side closest to the air def (at that lvl 90% are on the edge) - wb in to open the door to the giants, up with the healer and wait......when the time it ready release the goblins.

TH 7:
(optimized for 200 troop space)
Name: T1 and wb combo
Troops: 60 barbs, 60 goblins. 60 archers, 10wbs, 1+ heal spell
How to: Send 2 waves of barbs/archers, separated by breaking in w/ wbs. Keep repeating process until broke into core. When you are in the core, send waves of goblins along with your other troops. Use heal spells when necessary. This is also the time to send in BK and rein if needed.

TH 9:
Balloonidrags
HOW TO
With 220 camp space and 4 spell slots:
6 dragons (best if lvl 3)
16 balloons (best if lvl 6)
10 minions (doesn't really matter)
3 rage spells (higher the better)
1 lightning spell (for the CC, so better upgrade the spell)
Try to lure CC troops with a couple minions.
Zap CC troops
Drags to distract Air defense (or multi infernos) and do damage at the same time
Balloons support the dragons to take out defenses
Rage when needed
After air targeting defenses are taken out, clean up with minions and heroes (if you need to)

TH 10:
strategy name - balloonion
max trophy count possible - 3100 could maybe go champ if you pick right bases
How to -
24 balloons 60 minions
1 lightning 2 rage 2 heals
select a base with a lot outside/ low air def / xbows set to ground all 3 for best results
place 1 minion by the outside buildings out of range
drop 6 balloons and heal/rage to kill off few defences usually i pick 4 corners drop as many minions as req
easy 50% and easy climb to master 1
kill queen if she comes out with lure and minion drop dont bother with cc lightning is just in case you do lure them they die pretty easy and quick anyway and sometimes don't even get in way
cc not needed usually but have it filled just in case
king and queen not usually needed either

the note on always luring at the beginning of this forum guide is inaccurate no lure needed for cc troops

Name: BAG
Trophy: 1000-1900
1 barrack making Barbs
2 making Archers
1 making Goblins
Easiest Strategy Ever, just use two fingers to quickly surround the entire base with all the barbs, then deploy all the archers, then the goblins just like the barbs (circling the base).
You should be targeting inactive bases with full collectors. (That's the hard part)
Find a good trophy range for your TH level (1500-1600 @ TH9) then use the standard tactics to get 50% and all the collectors. Once you reach the peak of your trophy limit use the least amount of troops on In-actives and let yourself lose, dropping back down to your personal minimum trophies.
Since this army comp involves no wall-breakers, I would suggest just pumping heal spells to make it easy (in case you find good/easy storage loot). Maybe a few rage, if your not too lazy.
Note: @ TH9 you can start searching once you get 150 troops made, 175 @ TH8, & I wouldn't leave without a full army camp with TH7 troops.
If you find a storage raid (not what you want, but acceptable) deploy in the same way (spam barbs, then archers, then gobs) but deploy on the side closest to the storages. Once the troops get on the wall put a heal spell behind the wall. Placement is key: put the spell just barely reaching over the wall to heal the troops breaking the wall, so that when they do break in they get the most healing. After you have penetrated the wall, focus on keeping your mass amount of troops alive with heal spells. Once the storages are in sight plop down a rage and...
profit.
Edit: Just realized this is for hunting...
Still applicable I guess, 50% is still a win. As a TH9 I bet I could BAG my way through crystal 3.
