I've noticed when trophy hunting, there are less THs to snipe than usual. (Currently at 1700)... This got me curious on who is doing what at the moment. Is it that people are hunting for the season? Are people sick of farming? Or are farmers farming lower or higher than where I'm at?

I farm a majority the time, but have joined my clans trophy push for this round. It has probably been 3 months since my last push.

I am now a sustainable farmer...only getting resources from my collectors as I can't be f***ed raiding.
I use balloonians to push, and also get lots of loot at the same time. Usually I farm, but like once every couple months our clan has a trophy push.

On the contrary in my experience... 7 of my last 9 attacks at 2200 have been TH snipes! And I don't search for a snipe:)
I'm farming at the moment at about 1600 trophies. I'm finding considerably decent loot ('bout 100k-150k on average). Not too bad.

It's a farming clan at the moment but I keep getting pushed into a higher trophy level through won defenses, half the time when somebody wants to dump some trophies by attacking my base with one barb. So then I like the higher loot bonus and now I want the 250 gems for getting to Crystal League. But gold is what I want so maybe I'm more harvesting than farming. I mean, I don't mind spending tons of elixir or waiting a while longer for a stronger army if I can raid a nice pile of gold.

Farming as usual. When I trophy push, it's like a farmer pushing in that in addition to going for loot, I go for trophies too. :)

I am a farmer, but I have a sword and shield that I pick up from time to time when I get that "win' mindset and not the usual "Reso' mindset. that is why this game is so lasting IMO/IME..

I'm farming currently but I'm coming to the end of th 8 so I'm going to so a push in maybe a week or 2.
Although farming is very useful and I can get a lot of upgrades done in a short period sometimes, it's more interesting and fun (although frustrating) to go on a little push to see how much further I can get, or the game in my opinion could begin to stagnate in a constant loop of raiding easy targets. Therefore i find it great to mix things up a bit.
Usually I'm farming, but right now, I'm pushing for League of Clans.

agreed. I am coming close now to where I would like my walls to be, and the only way I do not completely put the phone down is mixing it up. I have been raiding as much as possible recently to do more defenses as mine are lacking some what ( using barch ), but now I think I am just going to complete my walls, and then push, doing whatever defense structure I can on the way.Quote:

How do you guys farm when you have 2 barracks down? I haven't really found a solution, aside from DE troops, but they are expensive.
i am pushing(1850 trophies at th7) by sniping th so that i find the good baces and occasionally drop some lightning...
but my usual attack strategy is to farm or sometimes experiment with hogs on th9s or 10s
