I'm a decent th9 farmer, lvl 83 with decent defenses. I'm looking for abandoned bases just to rack up loot. Anyone know any good trophy ranges where I don't have to worry about being destroyed all the time? I believe there is a picture of my base here, idk because I'm new to these forums (if the picture doesn't show my base, look up Blacks Peak and at my base, Davtown :3). Thanks!
Try gold 2 I'm a town hall 8 and I'm finding here effective and i do see plenty of 9 and 10's that have good loot
I am a TH9 and if you arent a premmie you dont need to worry about getting wrecked a lot. however, imo, there is perfect place with tons of loot and no attackers to hit you when u have tons of loot. with that said, gold 2 seems to be the place to farm for TH9Quote:

Agreed! I farm in Silver 1 and that is where I make the most loot AND when I get attacked, they only take my TH8 (which is in the corner of my map all by itself).Quote:

It actually depends what you are attacking with. If you are on often (say raiding every 30 minutes or less), then you should be around gold 2 and with nothing more than healers in your army. If you are on less often and using balloons or greater, then you can go up higher in trophies.
As for getting destroyed... it's just part of it. I have a maxed th 9 (other than walls and heroes) and I get run over by max hogs. However, overall you should be just fine.
Edit: Something else to consider is how much dark you are willing to grade for gold / elixir. If you don't care at all about dark then you can farm at a lower trophy count and get more of the other resources.
1200 maybe good but will get lighted a lot, gold II pretty ok
