Yes. It works great in crystal and above.
Its not a very common farming army... Obviously, its effective and gets the job done, as it can wipe out a base... But I wouldn't recomend farming with that army unless you are farming at Crystal or above, as Zach said... It takes way to pong and costs to much to be a standard farming army at lower levels...
Yep works in 2200 up, but you must have lv 4+ minions And lv.6 loons.
Haha funny you should ask. Im trying right now with level 3 minions and level 6 balloons.
Loonion is great for storage raids if you don't mind the build time. 24 max loons cost about as much as a giant/wbs/arch army. DE cost is 400-500 depending on army comp, but i never had a hard time at least breaking even. Just avoid using spells.
Not at your town hall level. Level 6 balloons are the only good level balloons, and town hall 8 only gets level 5. There is a surprising difference between the two.Quote:

I got lvl 6 balloons last night, and already went on a de rampage today.
20k de farmed in 12 attacks, and that at 1800 trophy range.

Yes, Ballonions is a great DE farming army, when you don't care about the cook time. I use normally 24 Ballons and 50 Minions. I think the perfect range is master league, but it works also in crystal 1.
He asked for DE Farming... Maybe you will change your mind when you get lvl 6 balloons... They receive a massive boost :)Quote:

lvl 4 and 5 loons are fine for balloonion. they are just as effective as long as you have them maxed and do not attack a th higher then you. lvl 5 loons will 3 star a lvl 8 base and lvl 4's will 3 star a lvl 7 base.
you do NOT need lvl 6 loons. you only need them if you are th9 attacking other th 9's. Now if you are DE farming obviously lvl 7 th's won't have much but i maxed all my th8 de upgrades with lvl 5 loonion perfectly fine.
it is the best method to farm de. especially if you are boosting.
