Question: Xbow are they worth it to be well defended?
Hello!
I am currently at townhall level 8 and it's 7 days away to TH level 9 for me.
I had already maxed everything at TH 8 (with exception of afew level 7 walls)
I will be using this whole coming week to design and make one base of my own.
I had made some references with afew post here and I am wondering. Is the Xbow really that good to be protected at the center of the base compared to my two heroes or resource storage? (And yes I am a farmer. Trophy does not concern me.)
From what I can conclude a Xbow is basically a archer tower with longer range and costs some elixir.
I doubt I will use the "Only land unit" firing mode
From my personal experience is that a more common approach of a attacker will be using a combination of healing spells and rage spells with giants and/or War hogs.
so is it better to put both xbow at the center to deal a constant DPS to those healing giants or leave the slots in the center for barb king/archer queen and let them deal a decent DPS on them?
Do note that I will still put the xbow close to the center, it is so that it will cover most of the base and will make short work on those units who are trying to lure my barb king/queen out.
Btw I'm always open to comments and helps about base building. ;)
