should I rebuild the dock or open the mine? If I do start with the dock, does everything sell for the same? I ask this because I've been helping people fill their crates but its river boat bonus time. I really do want some freaking pets though!
Also, how necessary is it to expand? I've been selling everything I get.
I'm on level 27...don't know if that matters.
Everyone plays the game differently. I would favor repairing the dock, before opening the mine. The mine is still going to require you to get shovels, TNT, or dynamite to get the ore. If you have a smelter, you can always buy ore - or buy bars. But you also can get diamonds.Quote:

i did the boat dock first, then the mine when I had enough coin. Once the mine is open, I would try to get those shelters maxed out as soon as you can comfortably afford it. Then keep them running 24/7 to get them mastered. It take a long time to create bars, and a 15% savings is huge. Don't waste diamonds to purchase slots for the shelters. 2 slots per smelter is more than enough if you will be playing the game daily.

I'd do the dock first too. You will want to expand if you want room to spread out your machines.
An advantage to having the dock repaired is that you get a voucher for each boatload filled (double on event times). A disadvantage is that once you have a boat arriving every four hours, the game changes (unless you don't care about filling it) because there is a new impairative. I chose to put off repairing the dock until I had built my barn and silo up enough that I had some hope of filling most boat orders myself. Instead, I went for the mine and whatever else came my way. The mine yields diamonds, and with smelters you can fill truck orders that give vouchers. And you can prepare for the eventual ownership of the jewelry kiosk.
expansion materials are needed for farm and fishing area. If you have expanded the fishing area, pretty necessary right away, then till you need the space on your farm, selling expansion materials raises money and makes room in the barn. I had a fully stocked farm, and at level 64 still had seven undeveloped pieces of farm property. It is not something you need to do right away.

With that many coins, you can easily do both.

I didn't open the mine until I got to level 40 something. I repaired the dock somewhere around your level. As stated before, your Hay Day life will change. It takes time to prepare for boat orders and some of them are outrageous. Sometimes you will need to cast them off.Quote:

I would actually try not to level up (or just very slowly) before you have not achieved Turbo Trucker III and Captain III.
