Sums it up. Unless the next update brings mind blowing (positive!) changes, this game won't survive much longer.
OP this game gets to be as good as your clan is.
I'm fortunate enough to have met a very nice bunch of mad people. They keep the game still interesting for me, even after all this time I have been playing.
Clash on, cheers!
It has been doing quite nicely for year and a half without mind blowing changes and yes the death of the game is a day closer every day. No game in the history of games has had a eternal run and electronic games in particular come and go quite rapidly. You can't ride one pony forever, which is why gaming companies are always looking for the next big thing. Might be BoomBeach or something else.
hmm maybe I need to get out more but even after playing since the beginning ...I'm not bored yet. ...walls innit?
Updates Schmupdates... every time something changes the wining reaches fever pitch.
But really... they keep the game interesting ( frustrating sometimes but hey) updates force you to make adjustments to your routine and it always has an element of surprise, which seems to turn into disappointment for many rather quickly.
Its a great game with a fantastic social aspect to it which adds this whole other dimension to the actual game play.
I've seen a few threads like this lately but honestly, rather than moaning about... just go play another game. Not before you put all your collector and storages into a corner of course ;)
Some people's attention span simply cant cope with a long game like this...but seeing so many people who started at the beginning and are still playing strong... I cannot see any evidence of the game declining.
Clash is lagging behind their main competition in my opinion. I really think they broke loot in the last update. If you think about it, they targeted the loot of farmers who used to be the players taking loot from others but putting it into solid bases so it was hard / not worth the effort trying to get it back (but now, take two storages and still get 200k). I see FAR more bases with less than 100k (often less than 50k) on offer than i did before. Players seem to have discovered that if they keep a builder free for walls, they will never offer up much gold! Wow, what a surprise!
So, in a nut shell, the game is less enjoyable because raiding is 9 times out of 10 a massive skip fest. 15mins skip for a 2 minute fight...
Change range, get to crystal, try master, sink to silver, use power armies blah blah blah...I understand all of that but in my personal experience, they made loot worse and I play the game less as a direct result...If I wanted to cook power armies and chill in master league, I'd have done that months ago before the update came out.
Also, at TH10, the game is slower (due to long build times) so there is very little to do...They need a massive update here because the little tweak around the edges will not be enough...
Well, the previous big changes were th9 and then th10 added with costlier and longer upgrades. There is only so far you can ride that trick, th11 takes a month to make and defensive upgrades that cost 10 million while taking 2-4 weeks?
Offcourse there can be a new dark troop that is initially so overpowerful that it makes your head spin, but the big boys will still gem it to their use as soon as possible.
It is the last major update which changed the loot system which caused the no loot situation which caused the nexting which is causing everyone to burnout. I predicted this first few days after the update struck look for "Nostradamus predictions" thread. At that time most people say its ♥♥ and the th10s jeered while enjoying the 350k loot on th9 and as predicted the loot scarcity moved upwards and now even th10 have the same problem.
The fact is you can only keep clicking next for so much before you get OCD and before you get OCD your body is going to tell you to go do something else.
