No that's not what he is saying.

He's saying that he thinks he is the majority. I think I am the majority. Neither of us have proof that we are in the majority. I'll admit to it, Sandalhat won't. He's also saying that only the majority should be allowed to voice their opinions in the forum.

Whether or not SC is trying to please anybody is an altogether different discussion.

But not everyone that are on the forums and FB watch those videos, people in game watch those videos to so it's the natural thing to release it to everyone.

Sarcasm aside, I think that regarding the update feedback, all opinions are equally valuable, either for/against or indifference. You can explain your reasons however you want, but in the macro prospective, they all boil down to those 3 categories. Most of the time, people just create an account, and say "loot sucks" then leave. I don't think that those posts are completely useless, they do hold some values. Those posts are part of the casual (which is the majority of the population), who're dedicated enough to go into the forum, create an account and report their current experience. Now if nothing had changed for the worse, no one would have done it. Now when SC actually show a sign that they're listening to the feedback, that's where the more constructive feedback coming in. We need to gain attention first, then explain them later.

SC has created a thread for all the complains to go to, but it is no way a "discussing" thread (at least not in a sense of interactive discussion where SC shows a sign that they actually listen to people problems). It's only natural for those people to feel that they're ignore; thus, creating a new thread will gain them more attention. SC probably won't care either way, but this is a method that people use to emphasize the problem. I understand that mentality. They're trying, that's all, no harm done to any of you.

P/s: I know that loot complaining has always been there in the forum, but this is the biggest one yet (since the infamous inactive base search code event).

Most people who like the game aren't going to join post loot is great and then leave.

Your suggestion that the number of complaints indicates things have gotten worse doesn't take into account that number of players has also increased. More players equals more complaints even if the percentage of satisfied customers remains constant.

You also keep alluding to the forums as a discussion between players and SC. It clearly isn't. It's a discussion between players that they monitor and very rarely respond to. You can debate the merits of that all you want (i wish they responded more too), but that's how it is. No amount of complaints is likely to change that much.

With that in mind, folks creating new threads with one liners are basically yelling at other players and saying look at me. They shouldn't be surprised when the players they are shouting at respond.

The game is so hugely different on TH8 compared to TH10, so discussing about loot on that big Th difference isn't helping anyone. Both can state their current situation, neither are walking in the other person's shoes. TH10 WAS once a Th8, yet things have changed so even that argument isn't quite up to date anymore.

Everyone ought to always start these loot discussions with a "As a TH x, I blaablaablaa"

As a TH10, I think the loot is so inconsistent and mostly on the low side, the game is boring to play for me.

Maybe so, but there was an update yesterday too, why didn't they do the video during that update? why have two separate updates? I expect more regularly updates in the future to remove more abandon bases as its not great for there profits.
