Also it's really not about people voicing their concern, but how. Yes, surely you can, and another solution (way better) is to ignore them altogether, and enjoy your 'already perfect' game. I've been in this forum for a while, and I know loot-related thread just by looking at the title, I sure you can too.

Sarcasm aside, I think that regarding the update feedback, all opinions are equally valuable, either for/against or indifference. You can explain your reasons however you want, but in the macro prospective, they all boil down to those 3 categories. Most of the time, people just create an account, and say "loot sucks" then leave. I don't think that those posts are completely useless, they do hold some values. Those posts are part of the casual (which is the majority of the population), who're dedicated enough to go into the forum, create an account and report their current experience. Now if nothing had changed for the worse, no one would have done it. Now when SC actually show a sign that they're listening to the feedback, that's where the more constructive feedback coming in. We need to gain attention first, then explain them later.

SC has created a thread for all the complains to go to, but it is no way a "discussing" thread (at least not in a sense of interactive discussion where SC shows a sign that they actually listen to people problems). It's only natural for those people to feel that they're ignore; thus, creating a new thread will gain them more attention. SC probably won't care either way, but this is a method that people use to emphasize the problem. I understand that mentality. They're trying, that's all, no harm done to any of you.

P/s: I know that loot complaining has always been there in the forum, but this is the biggest one yet (since the infamous inactive base search code event).

In regards to "Money spent", Supercell does care about your feelings early in the game to get you hooked FAST, but once you stop buying gems they don't care. Supercell knows the vast majority of gems are bought somewhere within the first month of you playing. Once you buy your builders (their main goal), things speed up fast and before long you reach the endless resource grind where it's hard to even keep all the builders working anyways.


At this point, in order to continue progressing you can 1) buy more gems 2) spend countless hours farming without buying gems. If you take the second route (majority of people), Supercell KNOWS it gets boring and most likely welcomes you to quit, especially after the influx of fresh Android users on the server pining to buy builder huts.


I still enjoy the game mainly because I have great clanmates, but as a nearly maxed TH9 who quit buying gems, the game has become driven more by social media and less by the gameplay.

There are two reasons why they and probably complaining about loot. One they are a terrible raider and now are losing money off raids as in the past they have been able to barch, bam etc there loot in the past and now as there is a lack of inactives they have to hunt for storage's and are unsuccessfully trying to destroy the storage's or aren't making as much money. Two, while they are on here complaining they are wasting time to raid and gain loot!!

They might be terrible raiders but i think its more likely what sandalhat said in another thread. They aren't accounting for averages over extended play. I believe loot is inconsistent, but not non existent.

I didn't see what sandalhat said in another thread but i agree with that statement to that loot moves but I still believe that my points are valid and fair.

So you think your opinion is more valid because you have thousands and I have dozens? That is if I believe you have thousands?

Like I said before, you and your people are verbally attacking people that come on here to support my side of the cause in order to intimidate negative feedback so that you can keep your 'thousands' of supporters and silence the 'dozens' in millions. Really, there is millions playing COC? Where is your reference for that number? Are you assuming? You know what you do when you assume?

Not the full truth. I'm saying its a distraction because if they want to announce new videos they would just post the details on the forum and on there facebook page, do they really need to perform a maintenance update for 3 videos? and I don't think its deliberately done to make the loot worse, I think it's Supercell way of trying to fix the loot system. By removing the abandoned bases, players would give up on hopes of only searching for abandon bases and forced to attack storages for loot but in order to attack storages you need a full set of strong troops and longer playing periods to achieve the amount of loot to perform the upgrades. Majority wouldn't be able raid all day so they end up leaving large amounts in there storages, this give others the chance to raid some of it...

A Th8 clearly shouldn't know what a th10 is talking about. The difference is sky and earth.

And when one gets on a "bad streak", the likelyhood of returning to the game decreases. I just checked my loots for the day, one good(200k) and rest mjeh(50-90k), total of 8 attacks. So I could advance much faster, but the constant nexting and likelyhood of finding the big score being so low, playing other games is just far more enjoyable.

Am I gonna buy gems? Hell yea, in games that I enjoy. CoC just ain't one of them anymore.
