So what you are saying is, all feedback is meaningless and the whole forum is meaningless? I agree.
At times it makes me wonder how reliable that database is ;)
The thing is everyone plays this game differently and so it will never be perfect.
I don't think you should go around telling people NOT to provide feedback because SC already knows everything! Supercell only know 0 and 1s. Their database has absolutely zero comprehension of people's emotional bond with the game. For example how could they determine between someone that plays a little bit compared to someone that wants to play a lot more but is forced to play a little bit?
Nope, but considering the information that SC has, what value do you think they place on constant loot complaints from a couple dozen out of millions of players? Especially if they can compile statistics that you cannot and they describe something completely different.
Don't believe I said that.
Every online game is repetative, thats why they hold on to you for so long... Eventually you will quit, to start over in a New repetative online game... Grinders 4 life... he he
Why on earth would you need to know how people feel, when you have statistics like:
Money spent
Hours spent
FB likes
# of downloads
You feed the positive by having advertisements and youtubers praising your product and silence the complaints by dumping it all here in the forums. Simple, effective and 0 caring needed. "Perfect" business model, don't ya think?
I didn't say all feedback was useless, I said specific complaints about loot were useless.
People can feel all sorts of nonsense even while the numbers disprove them. Feeling as though loot sucks, doesn't make it so. 1s and 0s are much better at accurately determining whether or not loot really does suck.
If SC has all that data then why aren't they using it to improve the game ? Considering how many people are complaining about bad loot and how many times you have to hit next you would think that they would of come up with something more substantial by now with all that data. No reason for them to take so long to make changes.
You've been here long enough to know that post update feedbacks are just a formality, especially when it comes from 1% of the gaming population.
SC's data tells them what they need to know, and if they think it's good, no amount of negative feedback here is gonna make them change their mind. Again, think 1%.
The feedback thread serves as s platform for discussion. Players discuss their experience there, and SC will give their input once in a while to shed some light on why things are the way they are. Not much room for discussion when all we see is "loot suck", right?
Discussion and expression of gaming experience post update, but all we see is whiners thinking that SC owes them 200k bases that can be taken down with barbarians every 20 skips.
You did not understand a word that was said if you think comparing you making 2m of game coin compares to anyone on kitchen nightmares.
The argument is about whether feedback is valid or not with or without an explanation. The argument was about somebody drawing up a restaurant analogy about consistently repeating customers.
Yes I do think that we are more than a vocal minority. If it was true SC may or may not do something. Your supposition that they would is fundamentally flawed, using the very analogy of the kitchen nightmares situation. Businesses are deluded and think they are smarter than their customers all the time.
You are correct in saying that SC has all the data. Their picture of overall game health may, or may not be, crystal clear. To think that their vision is clear would be to suppose that all businesses know everything about the health of their business, at all times, without customer input. THAT is fundamentally flawed thinking.
