Should I get it or save my money for the lobster pool and buying expansion material? The reason I'm questioning this machine is because it takes so long to produce the bars. I have only one smelter. Should I buy more? I'm on level 42, so it will be a long time until I level up to 44.
Only the truck orders ask for jewellery - if that helps you decide. You get XP and vouchers for the jewellery and bar orders.

I only have one smelter, never needed more than one, I am level 49. If I need one more piece of jewelry I can find it in the RSS.
I have five smelters, and still struggle to keep the jeweler supplied with metal bars. Smelters are just so slow.
Jewelry sells for a lot of money (by Hay Day standards), but I'm not sure it's worth it, because smelting the metal bars takes so long. (The jewelry itself doesn't take too long.) I've gotten hardly any truck orders for jewelry. I'm still getting more for the metal bars than for the jewelry.
If you hire Tom for a day and have him fetch 9 each of necklaces, bracelets, and rings you'll be set for a long time for jewelry orders. At least in my experience.
Really the only reason I produce jewelry is for the vouchers, but as an added bonus they are another way to make extra coins if you need them. I have all five smelters that I run non-stop. I usually don't run out of bars, but that's really only because I had Tom stock me up on bars when I first started so I had a big head start. I still send him out here and there to get bars I'm running low on, in between getting shovels for the mine when I need them. One thing I found, and maybe it's just me or it only happens to some of us but I find the shovels yield more ore and diamonds than the small and even the large dynamite. It would be interesting to know if anyone else has found this.
i get four ore for a shovel, three for TNT, and two for dynamite. Diamonds intermittently, but it seems to me, more frequently with shovels.Quote:
