Hello all,
I have been a long time player of Clash of Clans, (6 or 7 years at this point) but this will be my first post here so I apologize if there is a better location for this.
In my experience and opinion (as well as the opinion of my clan), the Electric Dragon is very OP and I think he should receive some stat adjustments, in either a health or dps drop.
Anyone else feel this way as well?

I assume you have a very compacted base. :facepalm:
The last time this topic came up I checked my defence log & Eddies performed very poorly against me. No triples & singles more frequent than doubles.
As maximooze points out, your base is probably too compact; allowing Eddie's chain lighting to be effective. Spread your buildings out & more often than not mass Edrags will run out of time.

For OP, the design of my base focuses more on the FF:
- try to maximize the entire village canvas, having 2 spaces apart from each buildings
- protect single infernos and air defenses with storage
- have some disguised entry point for the mass edrags (make the player think its a good place to start massing), put all your seeking mines there

On the contrary, my base is very spaced out. If I can learn about how to do it properly on here I can post a Screenshot. I am an almost maxed out base level 10, but they're "transferring" zap is just atrocious. Most of my defense reports are 1 star with an occasional 2 star, 3 stars are rare.
I also find them to be quite an annoyance as a base defender, but I know that could be fixed if I changed my attacking army (I'm a pekka/bowler guy).
Well there's your problem: you're a TH10. Electro dragons unlock at TH11, and of course a higher town hall should always be able to flatten you. There's no adjustments needed to be made to the ED's stats. I'd argue that they need to be made stronger. At TH13 you hardly ever see electro dragon attacks. Their attack and movement speed is far too slow to be able to do any more than a low 2 starQuote:

Eddie's are basically just a spray and pray attack that only fairs well against underpowered and poorly designed bases.
Wait till you see what high level Inferno Towers and especially Scattershots do to Electro, and even Dragon, armies.
As it's been mentioned, EDs are a troop for TH11, so even at level 1, it's sufficiently powerful enough to wreck TH10 and that's not op in any way. If your base is upgraded TH11 and still gets wrecked by EDs, that's a bad design. EDs are only op against compact bases and nothing else, and that seems like a balance of stats.Quote:
