Adopt BB features for legends league

2 things I’d like to see for Legends league is to have no “cook” (wait) time on troops, spells and Hero’s much like Builders base and the ability to switch between troop presets during the count down to raid.

Everyone within Legends league is limited to a maximum of 8 attacks per day anyway, so why not?

The ability to switch presets would also elevate the skill and fun factor of the game exponentially.

I have been playing for 9 out of the 10 years and I must say to the Dev. team well done. I hope you are paid well because you deserve it.

No troop cook time isn’t really all that fair when donating troops for example to clan mates especially when your lower league clan mates want to get a donation in.
Plus the troop cook time does cause some people to not do all attacks in the lower legends regions. Like you said it’s only 8 attacks you can do so the troop cook time is hardly an issue and without it you could get all raids done in less then half an hour.

They also don’t want to ability to switch armies even if you could only switch between 2 presets let alone more. They want the multiplayer legend league to be quite distinctively different from let’s say war attacks where you have ample scout time and armies which can be tailor made. Granted wars would be a little bit more in the tailor made attack direction but still the differences would become smaller.

If there was no cook time in Legends League, that would make the use of Training Potions obsolete at that level. If you want to get all of your attacks in you have three choices: wait until you troops/Heroes are cooked/healed, use a Training Potion, or use Gems.

Wouldn't be a bit of advantage for me to fill every single one of our 30 war ccs for cwl with no wait time.

Yeah so have it so that you still cook troops for donations to clan and War CCs (stored in army camps and barracks) but whatever army you choose to raid with (saved in presets), has the DE and Elix cost deducted from your storages (if you have sufficient RSS) once attack starts.

What’s wrong with knocking out all your Legend League raids quickly? I would have thought it was a good thing. For me that’s one of the things I enjoy most about Builders base. ����♥♂️

As for potions becoming obsolete? Once you already have them in your treasury, the surplus are anyway. I get this often. This is why we have the option to sell if no longer required.

Your'e asking something for the ladder without having any counter-proposal for the lower leagues, I can't imagine how many people will protest about this, "being a legend" is not sufficient reason to have this kind of feature.

So there you go, why not just gem the hell out of everything?, I assume your'e already maxed and have nothing to do with your magic items anymore, sell it then use it for the brewing :thumbsup:

Who are “They”? Do “they” speak for themselves or are you “their” mouthpiece?
Just asking for “a friend”...
Legends League would still be different to “War” because like BB where you can flip out your army, you only have a very short time to think on the fly and not analyse every aspect of the layout like in War.

And that's the point of that ladder, why'd you want to take the easy path?

You want to be part of the competitive scene by taking out the competitive parameters. LOL

If you have that so much problem with that ladder, just stay on titan. :)

It’s all opinion I guess (which is the point of the forum). If it is so much of a perk then great! I’m all for it. IMHO the legends league needs more perks. I say that because I actually avoid it due to there being more benefits (for me) staying out. And for those that can’t make it yet that feel short changed, they can have something achievable to aim for.

p.s. Whilst I have been maxed a number of times over the years, I’m currently not. I’ve been back for one season after almost a year lay-off I think. Lots of new releases, new TH, new Hero, troops... My 6 builders are almost always swinging. it’s great to be back.

Legends really isnt aimed at farming. Although with the perk of never losing loot on defenses you amass it quite quickly. I found it to be better than high titans after they slashed shield and guard times. And 0 clouds. The legends design has two components. 1. How well can you do with the army you have against the base you get? No next. No custom built army. Dance with who you bring. 2. Can you do the attacks? Maybe 30 minutes of actual time required to attack, click retrain, click request, logoff 8 times. Granted you need to be able to spread this over the approximately 16 hours you are awake around real life. Some can't adapt to either component. No big. Dont go to legends. It has advantages and disadvantages just like titans or playing low leagues.

Hi Maxi, I’m not too sure how it is removing the competitive parameters out of the game and rather adding option/edge to attacking.
As I may have already mentioned, I do try stay in Titans. I have just learned that aside from “dropping cups”, there is another way to avoid the league. I learned this a little too late however and I’m a little stuck in the Purple right now...

Great reply. I like it. How soon we (read that as me) forget the hours spent in clouds waiting for the sound of clashing swords. The current arrangement is definitely far better, hands down.

I'm not only speaking for the ladder as I haven't reached it yet, but you have this argument of not having enough time to analyze the base unlike wars. For that ladder, it takes that competitive parameter to test you how good you are for it to take you in the list, giving you a small room for quick decisions, testing your mechanics and your overall knowledge of the game, this applies to every league, every TH, every level, but MOSTLY on that ladder

Removing this constraint by any idea like your's will defeat the purpose of it, there has also been some suggestion to have multiple set of troops when raiding which is disagreed by alot.
