My suggestions is this: Instead of using actual money all the time to buy gems, make it to where you can use in game gold to purchase the gems. (I know the reason for allowing people to pay for them directly using real money is to pay for game development costs, server expenses etc..) It just seems difficult to get far in this game without getting raided every single time losing what resources I waited so long to obtain. Also the increase between upgrades is rather high and seems like it will take people months and months to even get far enough into the game to actually keep enjoying it. I love this game and am somewhat addicted to it and have supported it financially and don't mind doing so, but rather expensive to upgrade spending $20 (or depending on which you purchase) each time you want to try and get a advantage over others. If not able to switch to in game gold purchasing of gems, then maybe reduce the price of the actual gem purchases themselves as I would not have a problem purchasing them at a lower price. Just throwing it out there, but as I said I do like the game a lot.
