I collected some Dark elixir in an attack but I don't have dark elixir yet on my base because I haven't leveled up to it yet.my question is.. Will it be there when I get collector or do I just lose what I got from the raid?

it counts towards ur heroic heist achievement, but when u get the storage, it wont be there. so yah, basically its gone forever.
You won't get anything until you have your storage. All DE collected now won't be in your storages in the future either.
You loose it, you can't storage it until you have the collectors. But it will still count on the achievements section where you need to collect XX amount of DE for stars .

Just a small advice, if you want to collect dark elixir more faster and effective, you have to create lighting spells, and drop them on the oponent's dark elixir storage, and you will gain dark elixir more faster.
