By having the base in this form, I was surprised to see
1. how many people looted me, but gave me trophies by leaving my TH alone
2. people who were completely inept when going for my TH and ended with neither loot or trophies (a couple Tesla's helped)
3. that I got attacked less often, not making me feel as bad for breaking shields when I wanted to do just 1 or 2 more attacks for the night.

Welcome to the forums, Now we don't see many threads (None at all really) That complain that the loot system gives too much loot! If you haven't already, please consider reading Update On The New Loot System, As it tells you how much loot can be available, Sometimes players can get a high trophy count revenge on you. I have once found a 41 trophy revenge, Didn't bother to attack.
Now, If you have 1 Million and over in your storages at TownHall 6, 250K will be available to the attacker. Townahll 7 - 200 and soon, for more details read the Loot system thread by Marika! (Supercell employee)
If someone is capable of looting you, unless your base design is really poor, they should have to shield you to do it.Quote:

If someone decides they are going to steamroll you for loot, that is likely what will happen. The aim of an unprotected town hall is to gamble on trophy hunters, snipers, bonus hunters, etc finding you before a resource hunter does.

I judge features mainly by the 3 I's. "Is it not just the easy way out for him?" "Is it fair to others? Is it fair to Supercell?". And your idea fails all of these. I suspect if his idea was implemented earlier, that he would've been here complaining about the loot.
When you raid, you have to consider if he/she will revenge you. As julez said, lightning DE is a sure way to get revenged, as DE is the most valuable resource in the game.
