Townhall 8; Need advice on what to do next. :)

So heres my base, im basicly just looking for some advice on what to do next. I have 5 builders and currently i have all 3 mortars going to level 6(stupid yes but id rather go 5 days with none than 15days with 2), my 3rd gold storage going to level 10, and my 2nd dark barracks going to lvl2.

What should i do next?

Also id like to hear wht people have to say about upgrading to level9 townhall with level7 walls, will that truely make a difference? Should i spend the next month of grinding gold for lvl8 walls?

Current base stats:
Mortars x3: level 6
Air Defense x2 x1: level 5, 2
Wiz towers x3: level4
Cannons x5: level 8
Archer towers x4 x1: level 8, 7
Teslas x2 x1: level 3, 1
Gold storages x2 x1: level 11, 10
Elixir storages x2 x1: level 11, 3
Dark elixir storage: level 3
Barracks x3 x1: level 9, 8
Dark barracks x2: level 2
Gold mines x2 x4: level 10, 9
Elixir collectors x6: level 9
Dark Drill x1: level 3

Pretty sure thats it, so any advice you can give me on what to do next and what order to do them in would be greatly appriciated. Btw, i know my base looks like ♥♥♥♥ at the moment, switched things around to compensate for the mortars. Thank you all for reading :)

Air defence lvl 2 is horrible

What trophy range do you farm in? That should give an idea of what kind of armies you'll be attacked with and what to upgrade first in order to defend appropriately.

I would upgrade all of your new building to the same leave as others.

It's quite simple for me.
1. Splash (mortars and wiz)
2. Expensive anti-air and teslas
3. Point-defence (cannons and archers)
4. Elixir upgrades (barracks, drills)
5. Walls, fast upgrades (<1 day) or assigned to a catrgory, which has a builder going to be free in less than 24 hours.

One worker per category. Camps, lab, spell factory have top priority over all the abovementioned. Also mines and el.collectors if you feel like you need more than you can farm.

P.S. There is no reason to skip any upgrades before upgrading th short of you being going to quit playing, i.e. being impatient. Any upgrade you skip will hurt you later. :) Don't rush and try to farm faster. :)
