How’s CWL treating everyone?

We finished Master 1 with a record of 6 and 1, a good CWL season for us. We were the only clan to beat the clan that won and advanced. We lost by one star to a clan who in my opinion watched our defensive war replays from another clan in CWL to get a template on how to 3 star a couple of our bases.

It isn’t fair how people can join other clans in CWL to watch war replays in the lower tiers but Champion 1 is exempt from that. The rule in Champion 1 where only elders and above can watch war replays should be in all tiers. There were 3 clans this CWL from the same country, the 1 clan who I suspect watched our war replays was from the same country as the other 2.

There isnt an issue.
And I agree nobody will get to Champ 1 without those big 13s..
But it is a clan management decision on fielded rosters.. The money is irrelevant to that argument..
And realistically, 658 clans entered Champ 1 this term (if the post in another thread is communicating accurate numbers) , so likely 80 groups of 8, and 3 groups of 6.

It seems to me that the leaderboard is more of a problem, since it is a visual guide as to ones perceived standing within the war game.
If the only issue is that a trip to Poland could be thwarted, then what happens to those 18 clans that will have 2 fewer wars to fight..
They are surely ruled out on prep day for day 1, if my understanding of how remnants are matched up when the window closes is correct.

So no issues, no arguments, except as to whether SC should force clans to field a team each day capable of competing in the tier..
I do think cwl should be treated as competition at all levels, but am not naive enough to expect that will ever happen..
Am still surprised a clan that high up would simply throw it away.. But still also suggest rules are rules, and one size fits all, leader board or not..

Nobody has suggested it might be.

That isn't the situation the OP was talking about.

He was talking about where one war is 44-45 and all the others are more "normal" scores.

And with your "fine" idea, they would be stuffed. In order to ever play CWL again they would have to either disband and start a new clan, or wait until the members they have left all reach TH13, however long that might take.

You can't get yourself demoted if you can't take part.

That is arguable, but it shouldn't mean clans who lose a few players while in Ch1, but stioll have the minimum 15 necessary can longer take part.

We finished last night and man am I glad it was only 5 days this season (searched around 6-7hrs before signups closed) . We had a lot of time fails and a few 1stars, whilst the enemy seems to be 3starring us like crazy.

It was a fun and close group though, but stressful also. Without the many time fails, we would have had a chance of 2nd-3rd place, or even first.

But we finished last place (6th), going 1-4 (1 win 4 loss). 1st place was surprisingly a lot closer than we thought. They were only 37 stars above us.
1st place clan Advanced to Ch2, everyone else stayed in Ch3

Every clan had an all 15 th13s roster

Day 1: we lost 30-32. They finished 3rd and they went 3-2 (3win 2loss)
Day 2: lost 32-33. They were 1st and went 4-1.
Day 3: lost 29-29 on %. They were 5th and went 2-3.
Day 4: lost 27-33. They were 2nd and went 3-2.
Day 5: won 29-29 on %. They were 4th and went 2-3

Finished 4th in m3. Went 3-4 . Oddly finished ahead of a clan that beat us by one star. My 45ish percent total faceplant that war still annoys me as even 1 star would have won the war as we beat them on percent. We did a lot better against some common opponents so we had way more total stars. Oh well. Good round. We are getting used to masters and the medals help a lot. Had fun. Tired and expect the clan to go into hibernation for a day or so.

Surely that applies to any clan in any tier, and just because we are talking about the pinnacle whereby those competitors have a realistic chance of progressing to the play offs, that shouldnt qualify for a change to the fundamental rules of cwl.

A clan that sandbags Champ 1 may well gain more exposure due to more focus on the top tier, but below that top tier, there are many clans striving to reach that level that are similarly affected by the actions of someone else..
Why should there be any difference between said sandbagging in any tier?

Maybe the leader of that Ch1 clan that fielded lower Th players didn't know how CWL matchmaking works and there's no weight based matchmaking in CWL.

They don't have to disband.
They can just do CWL in a new clan and return back to their Ch1 clan once CWL is over.They can repeat it till they have strong TH13s to compete again in Ch1.
I don't think in Ch1, a th9 or th10 can even get a one star against max th13,to have a chance of getting 8stars for max medals.
It's very difficult to reach Ch1,so instead of getting their Ch1 clan demoted to lower leagues,they can do cwl where they have a fair chance to get 8 stars for max medals and once they have strong TH13s,they can compete again.

Despite a collective egg where half the clan blew chunks on D7 we went 5-2 and finished in 2nd place of Crystal 1. Not bad for being out weighted 6 of 7 days.

This is nonsensical.

It doesn't matter what state a clan is currently in. If they're in Champs1, they're there on merit & should be allowed to spin; irrespective of their current lineup. Putting artificial barriers in just makes a mockery of the ladder system.

What happens when TH14 arrives? Are you going to suggest a time limit for the entire roster to upgrade? Do they have to sit out until maxed at any future TH level?

I was most definitely not talking about 44-45 collision matches. Have absolutely no clue how'd you got that impression.
I was talking specifically about the clans that signup in Ch1 with lower THs and proceed to get annihilated and thus giving unfair advantage to those lucky ones to get matched with them.
As I stated they are not breaking any rules per se, but that's only cuz SC hasn't enforced such a rule... And losing on purpose is allowed.
