I agree with you in response to the particular post which referenced all max th13s. There is no valid reason at all to limit C1 to all max th13s. In fact, there are likely many clans in C1 right now that aren't truly fully maxed. However, there are valid reasons to not let a clan in C1 compete with a th8s. It negatively impacts the competition as noted in my post above (unlike at other CWL league levels).

I'm not sure how it would be enforced, though. I do like the idea from Onyx that a clan without 15 th13s (would get put into C2 rather than C1). That would stop some of this, but a clan with 15 th13s could still put in a bunch of lower halls if their intent was to mess with the system. Maybe that isn't usually the intent.

Now that is a reasonable reason for not allowing it.

I would still be surprised if SC do so though.

Crystal 2- Clan config:
1x th13
8x th12
6x th11 (None of them rushed)
As always, couldn't be any closer to promotion. Got 3rd for the 3rd time in a row. Not a bad result considering usually we are only 5th or 6th strongest in group in terms of out config. Some th11s (including me) are very close to max and my clan is expecting to get a promotion in the following months. Most members of my clan can get 2.3 on average playing same th and 1.8 on average playing against higher tiers so I'd say we are in a good position.

Looks like we got a very tough grouping in Master 1 for the June CWL. It appears that 3rd place might be the best case scenario this time.

Masters1 took us 2 hours to get our group. As usual all clans have 15+ th13s. I didn't check to see how advanced they are.

I just don't see how it can be "tough" if 3rd is a target.

We've gotten 3 more TH13s over the past month, so I plan on starting an 8/4/3 roster. Who knows if it will be enough to get promoted but we should at least compete for the 2 promotion slots. Finished in 5th with a 5/4/6 roster last month.

For the record, my clan is in Crystal 2.

8/4/3 You should be pretty good in C2.
Last season we ran 5/3/7 for most of the week in C1 and finished a distant 2nd place. But we went 6-1
Looks like we'll be running 6/3/6 or 6/4/5 this season most days depending on relies from 2 more mates.
We'll spin later tonight.

We’re looking for 3 more th13 before we can search. A few of our regulars can’t go this month. Masters 2 is tough if we use th12

Honestly, I thought there would have been more of a development gap between C2 and C1. It seems that the Crystal tier in general has big gaps between tiers strength-wise, at least in my opinion. On the other hand, I've noticed that C2 in general has been growing stronger rapidly. I think from last month about half the clans in our group had 9+ TH13s.
