Frustrated!

This morning my hubby got gold voucher from 2x3 crates feta pie, 4x3 crates chilli popcorn, 2x3 crates potato feta cake.. Sent it right away.

She wasn't stating a fact but rather repeating a desire by another poster that such should be the way it works rather than completely random.

I assume this is purely statistical and programmed to give out x coloured vouchers y percent of the time, but at random.

2 more gold.

8 strawberries - 3 crates
4 chili popcorn - 3 crates
10 creams - 3 crates

I had 2 cheese boats right after each other and 2 butter boats on the same day right after each other, both gave me no gold vouchers.
In fact, I haven't got a single gold voucher from a boat yet during this event.
Even used all my diamonds (not that I had much) to speed up the boats.

This really makes me wondering if I will participate in any new boat event in the future.
It just isn't worth the effort considering what I get back in return.

I wish i could participate in the event, but I am trying to do my Turbo Trucker II & III so i can't afford to do any boat orders :(. My donkey will have to wait a little longer for his companion.

Last boat of the event, at least for me: 2 purple. Not bad, but the boat was "simple".. I still don't understand the ratio, but I think there's no ratio at all!
It's only luck, I suppose.

After the event finish this morning.. Today I got 2 gold from this order 3x4 crates rasberry muffin, 2x3 cratres cheese cake and 2x3 crates expresso and 3x3 crates burger, 18x3 crates pumpkin, 3x3 crates apple jam :)

From what I've read...what color voucher you get is not random, and whether you do the boat yourself and how quickly doesn't matter. Certain cargoes always gets certain vouchers. Someone even has a table that keeps track of them all.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was saying. I think it is a good idea to have it like this. But I'm going to assume that others may not like this because it would make the game predictable and they would cast off all boats that would yield green vouchers; whereas now they fill all boats in hope of receiving a gold voucher.
