Please can we have the option to delay the season bank cashing up to 7-10 days (similar to clan games - we have some time before we have to collect). The current timing is unfortunate given it coincides with the start of clan war league. Many of us have overflow elixir and dark elixir that we can’t spend on much needed hero upgrades as they would otherwise not be available for the CWL (or you are forced to buy / use a book of hero)
I would agree with this.
There's at least one BoH in every season pass. Learn how to plan ahead your upgrades and manage it instead of using it right when you reach the mark.Quote:

I have other uses for my BOH and I don’t understand why I should be limited in how I use it. I agree that cwl wins tend to be hard to spend, but the timing of the season bank exacerbates the issue. I’m not sure why anyone would be against this change TBH?
The current system rewards strategic planning. Those of us who plan for it dont lose resources and get the added benefit of raiding players who dont plan and are stuck with overflowing resources. We also get a jump on refilling season bank because our storages arent full.Quote:

The comparison to CG is flawed. You can postpone collection of CG rewards because the structure and interactive mechanism aren't displaced by the incoming CG, whereas season end needs to be cleared out for the incoming season.
I use my BOHs on all my heroes except the king which I can do without except in war. I typically end up with too much DE by start of CWL and no amount of resource planning could change that unless you play (and farm) less (and therefore I have saved my BOH as I have played the game less). So I disagree fully with the comment regarding strategic planning as I don’t think it applies in this particular case.
Regarding CWL collection, it does make a difference whether or not I have overflow DE or not at the start of the CWL. If I don’t have overflow DE, while I do have to collect CWL wins, I can stretch these longer if I use a DE army when I farm during these days. If I am already in overflow DE, every additional DE is a waste.
It’s easy to add some extra interface to have a delayed collection of the season bank from the previous season, so the comparison does stand with CG, in particular as you cannot collect season bank on the go but only as from the end of the season.
I don’t think this would harm any player nor Supercell and would be a valuable QoL change for a number or players. I also don’t think Supercell intended to have that perverse effect of the season bank coming in at the same time as the CWL started - it just happened to coincide to be the start of the calendar month.
And I disagree with your disagreement. I upgrade heroes the regular way outside of cwl. I also watch the trader cycle to see when a hero book is available. I always have a hero book ready for season end. Frequently a spell and / or troop book. At times, depending on clan games, I'll have two hero books. One to use right away and one to hold on to for upgrades during cwl. I almost never collect clan games rewards until after season end. This allows me to stack and get a nice hero and troop level boost right when cwl starts. I have purchased the pass every time on my main. The only time I've had unused resources overflowing was when I was max 12. And this time I will as I have max lab and heroes at 13. Just a few walls left and some collector / defense upgrades.Quote:

If they allow a 7-10 day delay for you to collect the season bank, then it seems natural that they wouldn't allow you to start your next season until you've "finished" the previous season by collecting the bank. That means you'll fill your next bank 7-10 days later. You'll lose 7-10 days of daily 20-point challenges.
