Private Messages

Does anyone else feel that there should be a way to private message people. because there is no way to the only way to discuss with one person is either just talk with lots of other clan mates interrupting or messaging back and forth on gamecenter, i think it would be very helpful if they added in an upcoming update a way to private message any other users or just users in your clan or people that are online. but there should be a regulator on how many messages could be sent a second to avoid spam to high level players or any players. it would be very helpful to discuss clan issues or decisions. i think that Supercell should defiantly add something like this in future updates

Why do you think gamecenter doesn't have private messaging themselves? Too many duplicate names.

same it would be helpful i sometimes need to talk alone to my freinds

in my opinion though, i like the way it is.

the cons would be less chat in clan chat. if people can private each other.

just a thought :-)

as a clan leader i would really like it if i could send messages out to individual people. just to see if they are a live and playing. trying to reach some people through regular clan chat can be challenging sometimes

i have many input for this game system.. its so messy in this game... i agree with our other mates ideas..

in my oppinion, what COC lack in this game are:
- u cant search ppl
- u cant message ppl (even u have message function, but its only for clan's invite notification)
- due to many case that their clan being ruin by a weirdo players, arent the games' GM, admin and other ppl can do something about it? maybe u can delete the promote function from elder. so that only leader can do promotion..
- so many ppl with the same name too!! this is why i think u cant make the search player function or message...

In my opinion, iSalamander lacks the ability to put a Y before, and an O after U.

I think this is a good idea-- it would also allow you to send msgs to those that you encounter in battles that you might want to recruit.

Yeah, I'm surprised that GC and Supercell never implemented a unique username feature. Having multiple users with the same name is just downright sloppy software design. I would probably hazard a guess though that I am the only Bumburgler on Clash of Clans.

I know how they could make similarly named users personally identifiable though. When you click on a name such as Jacob, on the pm screen, it could have a field that has a unique user ID number i.e - '4683782' so if you noticed another jacob and checked his ID and it was different i.e - '1185624, you would know it wasn't the jacob you were looking for.

i made a thread like this. yes ,we definitely need private messaging! its hard to communicate in this game. your only way is through clan or global chat. not very effective. :( especially when you wanna send a message to friends in different clans!
