1. Most important of them is patience.. You will hardly earn cup scores. You will win 2-3 cups per win and when you lose you are goin to lose -25 or more when you fail the attack. Especially if you lose 2 or 3 attacks in a row that means approx -75 cups and that also means 1 day of game play time. You shouldnt get demoralized easily.
2. Spare time. This is also very important since the amount of battles you will make decreases alot.
3. Gemming. This part is very important to buy your heroes sleep times as well as the spells.
4. Skills. Cant do without it.
5. Luck :)
I maybe missing a few more points but these are the ones that i thought important to become a champion.
