2. Ok, so we make it DE as an entry fee instead of gems. The format still works.

Listen Clash of Clans is an amazing game! Its addictive so addictive i and all of you have joined its forum to listen to others ideas and give a couple of our own. These ideas should be add ons...small changes if you will. Not these huge drastic changes that "clan wars" and "clan tournaments" would bring...it would completely change the game...I think all of these ideas are terrible!!! Maybe a new app supercell could come out with for this type of gaming is a better solution then changing such an awesome game so drastically

A tournament system that does not touch the current system is a great addition but not a huge change. I completely disagree with your sentiment. It could add another level of competition to the game which would be intriguing and fun.

I disagree. I have spent nearly 100 dollars on my base and I plan on spending more...that being said I will delete this app and so will 3 of my friends 2 cousins and my dad if they make a clan "tournament" or clan "wars" update to CoC. My dad has over 500 dollars in the game. Who knows what my friends and cousins have put in! Supercell WILL loose money on this idea and they will loose LOYAL Members. This change is too drastic it would be all about clan wars and winning the clan wars instead of building ones on self for personal gain with slight clan interaction. Talking, recruiting and donating troops to help is enough for clans as is. Clans already have to deal with hoppers and other problems...fix those first at the least.

You are in the minority here with your thinking. If you read the post carefully you will see this is an OPTIONAL add on. If you wanted to keep going in the game as normal go for it - nothing changes for you. Join a non tournament clan and be merry. However WHEN a feature like this is implemented and you choose to quit please leave your collectors on the outside. BTW, were you around pre-DE? If so did you dislike that change too? Heroes? It all changes and advances the game. Change is mostly good and I have enough confidence in SC that when this type of feature comes it will be done right (which is why it hasn't happened yet). But make no mistake, something clan warish is coming so if you feel this negative towards it I suggest you put your wallet away. And as a side, I personally don't care how much you or anyone else has spent in this game. It doesn't mean anything to me.

i just re read it all and i love it all!Its so much less complicated than other "clan village wars" it sounds so easy to implement and would another exciting element to our beloved game

SC would have to pull a cut, they would be making money, which is what they like, since the clan would probably buy gems to enter often.

I agree, we have to keep this attractive to both players AND SC in order for the format to work.

Original post is fantastic!! I disagree with giving gems back to SC tho. How much do they make a day already??

in this way you can truly define the strength of a clan


add trophies clan, type in the tournament with 16 first place clan 10 trophies, trophies 5 second, 2 third place trophies, 1 fourth place trophy so you can also play in the final third and fourth place

Other clan war ideas seem to forced (at least to me)... This just seems pretty straight forward. It would be so nice to have a real tournament in the game. As March Madness approaches in college hoops, we are reminded how much fun tournament play can be!
