isn't it normal that the more you are active on this type of game, the more you are successful? Seriously, it's like that for almost every game and for most things in life, including my mariage! We're not playing Tetris here, this is a game that benefits from increase activity, which I encourage strongly!
it's totally normal that active players be rewarded with more loot and faster village advancement and that occasional players take longer to acheive the same goals. I really don't see a problem with that.
And you're right, this game is less appealing to casual players. But this is exactly what SC wants, to appeal to the ones who are active, not their "casual" customers. I'd do that too if I was them, it's a sound way of running a company.
