This is stupid..just stupid

The loot update..increases the loot that that people can steal on defences. More loot avaidable to steal means its easier to save up for upgrades. Yeah right, losing 300k gold from each defence is really helping me save gold. And when i choose to revenge, max th9-10 no chance of getting my gold back. It's doesn't make sense, this update is punishing anyone th8 or lower which is the majority of coc players and yet supercell doesnt seem to care. This doesn't incline people to gem, it just causes people to get frustrated and quit.

As a matter of perspective, I'm a TH 8, have no problem with loot. There are many strategies you can put in place to better your game and it's up to you to adapt to the new CoC loot reality.

Yeah, the strategy is to play a lot!

Loot is no problem for active players, as you can make up your loss by raiding.
But for casual player, it can be a problem, especially if you play on and off between work, and breaking the shield in the process.

I'm TH 7 and in my latest defensives I have only lost 0-150,000. You've got a problem with losing 300k. Is it rapid or is it every once in a while?

I'll give you a simple solution, one of many: stick your TH outside. Many people don't do this and are saying how they get raided for 300K and can't save up.

however, depending on your league, you'll get mostly sniped 4 out of 5 attacks, costing you 1K gold and elexir and giving you a 12 hour shield.

Like I said, this is only one example of a solution, there are plenty others including base segregation and all that.

Yup, putting th outside for free shield is the most effective solution for now.

And if you're TH8 or lower, don't go up to 1800+ unless you want to start finding lots of TH9s and TH10s. 1300 trophies was awesome when I was at TH8, and there weren't any TH9s or 10s there.

If you lose 300k, it should mean you got a shield.

Let say you got a low 12h one

6 mines x 3k per hour x 12 hours = 216k

So effectively you only lost 84k

If you attack after your shield finishes, you cannot gain 84k back? If not, just quit the game.

They way the loot is set, you have to play each day so your ressources can grow. Better yet, attack twice a day.

And when you have time, try to get 500-1000k gain (5-10 attacks). You should be able to gain enough to max your TH8

Keep in mind TH10 upgrades cost 5.2-8M each. At a max of 200k per attack, this was just too long.

I agree I have Been upgrading telsa so my storage full up because of the long upgrade times so I show 350k to anyone basically in th8 as well and it really hinders your progress I have tried I have my TH out of my base and its surrounded by flags to show there are no bombs or telsas but since there's so much gold everyone goes all out :( but I have a good base design so I think that's all we can do as well as wait and see if supercell fixes it in the next update
