When can you make jewellery?

So I have the mine open, one smelter, and tonnes of explosives, shovels, etc clogging up my barn. I can't even just use them up, because the ore takes up even more barn space, and the smelter takes too long to convert to bars.

i really need the room free in my barn. Should I keep hanging onto my mining stuff or sell/trade it all or use it all and sell the ore? I still have a few machines to buy that I can't afford, so I'm thinking jewellery is a long way off?

Ores will stay outside the mine (seems there is no limit) until you get free space to pick it up and use it for smelter.

Thanks, I'll look at those, but when I try to add more explosives or whatever, it clicks to pick up the ore?

You can buy a jeweler at level 38, for 78,200 coins.

I use up my mining equipment and sell the extra ore in my stand. It sells really quickly.

Even though I have all five smelters fully expanded, and the jeweler, I can't keep up with all the ore. (Smelters are so slow!) I could just leave it piled in front of the mine, and sometimes do, but there's diamonds in there, and expansion items, and I want to get to them!

Expansion item is not from the mine, but from the act of "picking up" an item (ores, feed, cake, lure,....). When the reward is meant to be there, if you pick any other items, you always get the reward.

The jewelry is slow going and it's hard to keep operating because the smelters are so slow. I have three smelters one for each metal. I may have to get another one but don't really want to

It's still slow. I have 2 smelters for silver, 2 for gold, and 1 for platinum. I buy all the metal bars I can find in other people's RSS. I still struggle to keep the jeweler fed.
