New Spell (Boiling Soil)

This spell is a spell that ACTIVATES (basically getting rid of) all burst traps (Such as bombs or springs), reveals hidden teslas, and does damage to nearby buildings and limits 2 per army.
With a new spell comes a new level for our Spell Factory: Level 6:
Upgrade cost: 4,300,000 Exilir
Upgrade time: 8 days 12 hours
Hitpoints: 980
Spell Storage Capacity: +1 totalling up to a space of 11

Components of the spell:

Space: 1
Level 1 (Unlocks at town hall 11): With a diameter of 4 tiles (2 radius), does 400 damage to the nearby buildings.
Cost: 16000 exilir

Level 2 (Upgrade at town hall 12): With a diameter of 4.5 tiles (2.25 radius), does 500 damage to nearby buildings.
Cost: 17000 exilir
Upgrade cost: 5,000,000 exilir
Upgrade time: 5 days

Level 3 (Upgrade at town hall 13): With a diameter of 5.5 tiles (2.75 Radius), does 650 damage to nearby buildings.
Cost : 19000 exilir
Upgrade cost: 7,000,000 exilir
Upgrade time: 7 days

The reason behind limiting 2 per army is so that all traps are not bursted and all hidden teslas are not revealed. I hope you guys consider this option.

This message was obviously a bump in disguise. However, I will state that a spell to reveal traps has been suggested MANY times. I personally do not want this spell, but I do see how it could help lower level players. I would not like a spell that kills all use of my traps, it's one of the main things that protects the Town Hall for many players.

As much as I understand I feel that Town Hall 12 and Town Hall 13 have gotten rough to even get a 2 star for many of my clanmates. Introducing this spell is like handing the siege machines to the TH 10's. Basically a new tool that is needed for our players.
The reason the spell is limited to 2 per army is so that all of your traps are not bursted.

The problem with this though is that many players prefer to have a huge cluster of several traps surrounding their Town Hall to kill all that come by it. Even a single spell could melt 90% of that effect instantly, which would kill thousands of base designs.

Sounds like a good thing. When the creativity of players has to be incorporated into the game now they have to create and place their own traps in convenient places. As a good Town Hall 11-13 player you SHOULD know that it is not a good strategy to place them all together. - By your town hall

Are you sure about that? It is actually a GREAT idea to place traps near the TH to kill any troops delivered to the TH via siege machine. It could seriously help out alot with that. I am not saying it is a good idea for EVERY base design, but it is a useful way to counter siege machines, especially wall wrecker and battle Blimp.

I understand. Maybe if the diameter was smaller would it be more acceptable?

I edited my idea so the diameter is not too large. I shrunk its size by a bit and it should not be too wide. 🤔 I hope it helps.

Basically the first one has the diameter of a Big Bomb. And only gets a little bit wider each upgrade.

Sounds like your classmates just need to practice more, upgrade their troop and hero levels, or maybe just try a new army. I was able to three star a near max th13 earlier today in war league; it's not impossible, you just have to play smart. Typically I'm not a fan of any offensive troop or spell that eliminates strategy instead of adding to it. Your spell idea feels like an "easy" button, instead of learning how to properly deal with the type of base layout Bodgey is referring to.

Ok tough one. I guess you are right. I feel with the add of the Super Troops the purpose of this spell is depleted. Although it would be useful to the smaller players knowing I struggled at Town Hall 8, and 9. Then maybe it should become a reveal spell limited to 1 per army? That would be more useful than if it got rid of the traps? I love these critisms. First time on here. I made them last night so I am still working out kinks xd.

And yes they need a little help. I left my war clan for my partner.

Scouting attacks in war will be much more easier. Any TH8+ can have them and can be used to find the traps around even a TH13 at top levels. And sacrificing one spell slot to this will not those scouts adversely.

So what if it was changed to a reveal spell?
Because some people can already almost 3 star without it but if it was a reveal spell and with the 1 added slot I feel TH13's with the super troops would get the possible 3 stars that are needed

I think a reveal effect would only be useful if it affected the troop AI in some way. You can know exactly where traps are, but once you drop your troops they'll walk right over it anyways.

What I would recommend to your clanmates dealing with these bases is to try and get your warden to follow your main army into the base's core. If you suspect traps, active his ability to shield everything. It would basically have the same effect (except for spring traps) by utilizing an already existing game element, plus would protect your army from the other defenses.

That is true. But as I hear you and others can 3 star without the extra spell slot. I feel that the added 1 space in the definition of the Lvl 6 Spell Factory would be useful for this purpose and this spell. I feel going any higher than an added 1 space would ensure too much victory among everyone. 🤔

And with this spell you can keep the damage it does to the buildings as well as its reveal of the traps.

That is what I feel too. 🤔 But I think it will be ok. I do have ideas for new defenses. Because I feel both attack power and defense power is lacking. I feel though that we need a new spell because our factories look very dim.

What if it was made available at town hall 7 and no extra slot for spells? What if it was added with another spell during an upgrade? Like when upgrading the spell factory.
