Only 1 use for valkyries? and my opinion on loot

Over the past week or so I have been testing some Valkyries and the only thing that they seem to be good at is killing clan castle troops with their splash damage.
I think the best think for it would be to reduce the price and increase damage per second.\
Also people you should stop complaining about loot... if you find a good trophy range and have a decent tactic you will be fine. Well more the problem everyone is just used to having the 1 gem boosts and getting easy raids and now its not as easy to raid, because there no mines that are full.
You had it easy for a couple of weeks now u have to get back to normal.
STOP COMPLAINING.

Regardless if the loot is well for everyone or not, they keep introducing more and more gold sinks in the form of defences and walls without adding any extra resources in the game. Personally, loot was as bad during the boost as it is now for me. Everyone is quite aware how terrible the valkyries are, better AI for them would be a start.

If loot was bad for you during the boost, you were doing something wrong.

I only did several raids a day at best during the boost, perhaps I wasn't playing as much as yourself.

I made a suggestion in the suggestion forums and wantes to get your feedback as well



I have a suggestion in improving the valkrye, which could make her into a hybrid role of wall smasher and xbow multi inferno counter.

Give the valkrye the current whirlwind attack that deals area dmg which intensifies and increases dmg over time, similar to the chrrent inferno in single target, this would allow her to cut through walls efficiebtly.

During her whirlwind attack animation she could enter a higher defense status where she could repel or receive decreased dmg against weak attacks ( eg -5 dmg from incoming dmg) this would counter xbows fast firing rate and the multi inferno weak multi mode, but would not be much useful against point defenses.

Numbers can be tweaked appropriately.

Whay dou you think? It would give her much more identiy and a role than her current state.

Good idea, my only fear is that sc would take this and make the stats extremely OP, and we'll have our 3rd (or is it fourth :rolleyes:) OP DE troop.

Valks are kind of useless unfortunately.

I agree on current atate they are just not worth it.

wonder if a new troops gonna happen soon there is five empty slots at the DE barracks

I was gonna try and see how they are like for clan castle defence... Since they have big splash damage

Valkyries are great for donating, as they make a good defense troop.
They are also pretty fast moving.
Depending on the style of play, that might suit some people.
They can take quite some hits and do quite some damage. Even on level 1, they have more hitpoints than a level 5 giant and three times the dps. People in my clan regularly ask for them to be donated to their castle.
However, I think that 8 housing spaces is too much. If it were like 4 or 5 or so, I'd use them more often.

Regarding loot, for me it's all back to normal since about a week.

Actually there are 2 uses for valks.

1. Killing cc troops

2. Defending

One time i was barching and 2 max valks came out of cc and killed half of my army. ;) I was sad
