Attacked multiple times in a short time

Hi,

I'm new to Clash of Clans, so not sure of this is normal or not.

When I get attacked and lose, I end up having a shield. When the shield runs out, I then get attacked, but not only once, several times.
I got attacked 5 times within 20 minutes, so I end up with having a shield again, so I can't attack anyone.

Is this normal with Clash of Clans?

It depends what trophy range you are in. If you're sub 200 or champion, you often see people more than once in searching.

What happens is you get a shield in a couple situations.

First, at 40% damage, you'll be given a shield.
If they destroy your townhall, you'll recieve a shield.
and if they destroy you 100%, you'll recieve a shield.

Now, the length of these shields vary, for the first one, you'll get 8 hours, the second, 12, and the third, 16.

From the sounds of it, you're getting attacked, and winning your defenses. This can lead to being attacked multiple times in a short time span, as if you win a defense, you do not recieve a shield.

Also, you do realize you can break your shields to attack, right? Your statement made it sound like you didnt think you could.

nailed it. you're either winning or you're breaking your shield doing multiplayer play. if you do campaign mode, it doesn't break your shield

That's wrong. It's 12 hours for either 40% or the town hall. 90% gives 16.

Could have sworn there was an 8 hour one... Ah well, I was close enough, right? :rolleyes:

I've never recieved an 8 hour shield. Maybe I should try harder. Lol

I was a bit surprised that I was attacked so many times in such a short period.

I play Total Conquest and don't get attacked like this, so not used to it.
