One of my clan mates made a good point. Possibly having the txt box at the bottom so that you don't have to scroll back to the top to write a response or have the newest messages stay at the top so you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom.

Like another poster said, the ability to customize the clan page or maybe add a custom banner for each clan. I ve done this for our forum and would love to be able to pull it into the app.

An elder chat area would be awesome! Good thing it's at the top of your list lol

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but would it be possible to add polls, if clans have votes, etc... ?

chatting is a bit hard

It took me a bit to figure this out, there really isn't a "chat stream" like we are normally accustomed to with group chat. When I want to type something into the clan chat, there is a Title and Content section and doesn't allow you to submit unless both have text values. Seems to be a two step process and makes for each message to be a post where everyone can comment, rather than a continuous chat stream.

Could be confusing at first, but it actually makes sense if each post is intended to be chat thread. Just got to make sure that each thread is labeled properly, like having the Title "group chat" which is arbitrary. Deviates from the traditional group chat UX like in groupme for example.

LOL, that's why you said group chat in the other reply! I was a bit confused by that before.

Sorry for the confusion before. It's more like a private clash focused Facebook group wall rather than a group chat room. I think this style could serve a boarder purpose, ex sticky clan rules, sticky contest update, and seperate the discussion out for different purposes of post so it's not linear from all over the place. EX, one message of a member asking for feedback on base won't get flooded with other chatting topic.

But there will be a change to the title and post content structure, as I feel it's more of trouble than being helpful. So with the iPad release, these two fields will be combined into one thing.. Just the content.

Ah - well that explains it, and yes it does make sense like I said earlier. It doesn't take much to get used to, just a small learning curve on my end [this old man tsk tsk :rolleyes:].

Looking forward to the next release.

Currently bug fixing and beautifying... Hopefully can hit the submit button the end of this week, and it typically takes a few days for Apple to approve it. :)
